Roller brushes for winter maintenance are specifically developed for snow removal with road sweepers and other applications where it is important that the bristles do not become clogged with debris from the sweeping process.

The main use of a switch broom on a railway is to remove dirt, leaves, water and snow from switches and tracks. It is also ideal for cleaning in tight spaces. Our switch broom consists of a plastic body with embossed polypropylene fibres. A reusable handle holder is attached to the broom body (to be ordered separately). The handle holder and handle can be reused when the switch brushes are worn out. Only the brushes need to be replaced, reducing waste and costs. The plastic body becomes more brittle as it gets colder, so improper transverse loading should be avoided. To ensure the longest possible life of the bristles, we recommend that you carefully knock out the bristles on the smallest side surface.

Regardless of the size and type of sweeper, whether mounted, truck mounted, front mounted or rear mounted, we manufacture side brushes and feed rollers for all types of sweeper. Depending on the fill, the brushes are suitable for internal or external cleaning.
