HEX20 - UHF/VHF Transceiver

The UHF/VHF Transceiver module from HEX20Labs is designed for CubeSat applications, providing a reliable communication link in half duplex mode. Operating in sub-carrier mode AFSK/FM, this radio module covers VHF frequencies from 145 to 148 MHz and UHF frequencies from 434 to 438 MHz, with a frequency resolution of 1 KHz. The module offers two RF transmitter power output options, 1 Watt/30 dBm or 2 Watt/33 dBm, ensuring flexibility based on mission requirements. It boasts an RF receiver sensitivity of -110 dBm and a data rate of 1.2 Kbps using AFSK/FM modulation. The AX.25 RF packet format ensures compatibility with existing communication protocols. The module operates on a 5 VDC power supply and interfaces with the Command and Data Handling (CDH) system via a 9600 bps TTL UART connection. The module's robust design and compatibility with existing CubeSat systems make it an efficient solution for satellite communication needs.
