HF Jensen - Pressure Transmitter

HF Jensen - Pressure Indicator
This instrument satisfies the sanitary demands in most applications. The sensing element is a diaphragm machined from titanium featuring flush mounting, traceable material certificate and no oil filling. Titanium grade 5 is characterized by supreme corrosion data, very high 0.1 % proof stress (85 kp/mm²), very little hysteresis and excellent long-term stability. A strain gauge mounted on the diaphragm backside converts the pressure generated deformation into a change in resistance. The electronics, placed in the circular stainless steel housing, supplies the gauge, amplifies the output and generates a standard analog output signal in parallel with the displayed pressure. Any display orientation can be chosen. The indicator is terminated through a M12 connector or cable gland. The DPI is operated and configured with the 3 buttons on the front side. Change of range, units and alarm levels, temperature readout and peak value indication are some of the possibilities.
HF Jensen - Pressure Transducer Sensor
The sensing element of the pressure transducer is a diaphragm machined out of titanium grade 5. On the inside of the diaphragm is mounted a strain-gauge, which converts the pressure generated deformation to a change in resistance. Titanium grade 5 is characterized by excellent corrosion data, very high 0.1% proof stress (85 kp/mm2), very little hysteresis and excellent long-term stability. Available with teflon cable or LEMO connection. The connector version allows the sensor to be autoclave cleaned provided the connector is protected by a cover.
Precision Differential Pressure Sensors
HF Jensen - Differential Pressure Transmitter
PDR-IE is a combination of differential pressure sensor based on variable reluctance and the signal conditioner ICAB consisting of an excitation oscillator, a true differential input amplifier, a phase sensitive demodulator, a low-pass filter and an output stage. The output signal can be configured by the user through the jumpers on top of the PCB. All connections are transient protected and a metal shield box covering all sensitive components ensures high electromagnetic compatibility. The electronics is mounted in an Al-box (IP65) on top of the sensor.
Precision Displacement Sensors
HF Jensen - Submersible Precision Displacement Sensors
The displacement transducer type XLWP 16/600 L is based on a concept where the sensing element consist of only one coil. Special winding technique has made it possible to obtain measuring range up to 80 % of body lenght. The transducer is assembled by laser welding and all exposed surfaces are stainless steel. The core is guided in a stainless tube by means of a teflon bushing, which gives excellent wear resistance. The ventilating polyamid tube in the cable is used for Helium leak test. The transducer is designed to be submerged in water with pressure up to 50 bar (500 mWC ).

The XEH 6 inductive displacement transducer is based on a concept where the sensing element consists of only one coil, still retaining good linearity. It is designed for installation in hydraulic cylinders. A guiding bushing centers the position sensing aluminium tube. The basic principle makes the measurement contactless both mecanically and electronically. The XEH 6 operates with the signal conditioner type TCA.

The XEHS 6 inductive displacement transducer is based on a concept where the sensing element consists of only one coil, still retaining good linearity. It is designed for installation in hydraulic or pneumatic cylinders. A guiding bushing centers the position sensing aluminium tube. The basic principle makes the measurement contactless both mechanically and electronically. The XEHS 6 is available in a type submersible to 100 mH2O, please see ORDERING INFORMATION on next page. The XEHS 6 operates with the signal conditioner type TCA.
Water Level Sensors
HF Jensen - Depth & Level Pressure Transmitter
The pressure transmitter is based on a piezoresistive silicon sensor. The stainless steel part is laserwelded to the stainless steel tube which contains the amplifier. The backside of the sensor is ventilated to the atmosphere through a polyamid tube in the cable for the gauge type. The cable shield is connected to the stainless steel housing. All transmitters are helium tested for leak. The transmitter is terminated with a removeable protective cone made of PVC (threaded with M10). The thread can be used for adding additional weight (PSL-16).

Electronics for Transducers
HF Jensen - Transducer Conditioner Amplifier
The TCAB signal conditioner and amplifier is designed to interface the HF Jensen inductive single coil line of displacement transducers, together performing a linear measuring system. The electronic includes an excitation stage, a differential input amplifier, a phase-sensitive demodulator, low-pass filter and output stages. Further it compensates for transducer temperature drift, measuring the coil temperature by DC-current, hereby achieving very low shift over a large temperature range.
