Yagi Satellite Antenna
The Model 7127-00 Yagi Satellite Antenna is a directional antenna used for surface installations in satellite communication systems. A frequency range of 401 to402MHzallows operation with GOES, METEOSAT, INSAT, or GMSchannels. This antenna radiates right-hand circular polarized energy in a pencil beam pattern. It features five crossed elements positioned around the mast for maximum unidirectional gain, plus a dual set of folded dipoles for phasing the radiated energy.

The 3501-00 Module Reader transfers data from the 32K or 64K data module into your IBM PCcompatible computer. The 3501-00 has 3 LED indicators for POWER ON, ERROR, and ERASE. The transfer protocol is switch selectable between 38,400 baud and 9600 baud. (At 38,400 baud, a 64K module is read in 41 seconds.) A 6 foot serial cable with a female DB9 connector and a wall mount transformer are also supplied with the reader.
Remote Sensing Solar Panels
The 5300 Series of Solar Panels are used for maintaining a battery charge at sites that include control, telemetry, remote sensing, data collection, and other instrumentation systems. High Sierra Electronics uses photovoltaic and thin film technology for reliable, long-term operation. The modules generate direct current (DC) when exposed to sunlight or other sources of light. When using photovoltaic panels, single crystal silicon cells are the most efficient. Polycrystalline (or multi-crystalline) cells are slightly less efficient than single crystal cells.
Automated Flood Warning Systems
The Model 3480 Automated Flood Warning System (AFWS) advises motorists and authorities when roadway flooding occurs. These Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) for traffic safety use existing ALERT/IFLOWS flood warning networks, spread spectrum radio, cellular modem, Ethernet & other technologies to activate flashing beacons, barrier gate operators, or flood sirens at flooded low water crossings. Base Station software notifies staff of events and provides remote control of these advance warning sites for improved traffic safety.Electronic Water Recorder
The Model 3500-00 Single Channel Data Recorder is a low cost electronic water recorder. Rugged construction and low power requirements provide reliable operation in remote areas. The Model 3500-00 makes it easy to record conditions such as water level readings, pulse counts, and tipping bucket measurements. Data is stored conveniently in either a 32K or 64K memory module for fast, simple transfer by the Model 3501 Module Reader to graphical and/or tabular analysis on a laptop or desktopIBMPC-compatible computer. The 32K module can store 170 days of 15 minute readings.
Remote Recording Data Logger
The Model 3502-00 Remote Recording Data Logger is a compact, 1 to 4 channel data logger receiving either analog or contact status, designed for use in remote, rugged environments. A weatherproof NEMA 4 enclosure houses the 32K memory logic board. The Model 3502-00 is field programmable, including commands for sensor set-up and data logging. Data recording can range from once a day to once per second.
Data Logger
The Model 3510-00 Data Logger is a compact single channel data logger for storing and displaying data from a Model 6800-00 Shaft Encoder or a Model 2400-10 Tipping Bucket. The bright four digit LEDdisplay allows the field technician to read the current sensor value by pushing theREADbutton. Data is stored on a removable, plug-in module that can be ordered separately. Two data modules are available, either 32K or 64K bytes of memory. The 32K module can store 170 days of 15 minute readings.
