Shown below is a detailed list of the many different profiles that we have made for our customers – from simple circular tubes to multiple bundled capillaries.

As a German producer of NMR tubes and NMR consumables such as pipettes and filling needles, Hilgenberg GmbH maintains close contact with the development departments of all major European NMR equipment manufacturers. We have no problems to meet the requirements of the new 100 mm NMR tubes for the Bruker. Match system, and we are able supply high-quality tubes reliably for a reasonable price. Moreover, we also develop our own products, such as filling needles for the Bruker Match system, which have been optimized in close cooperation with external scientific and application experts.

Our sample tubes are used for X-ray fine structure analysis of single crystals, powder specimens, and liquid crystals. The extremely thin-walled capillaries permit the analysis of minute samples sealed in a gas and moisture proof environment. Similarly, the wall thickness of only about 10 µm makes the tubes particularly suitable for high-precision measurements. Thanks to the wide funnel at the upper end, samples can be filled conveniently into tubes even with the smallest diameter.

We produce various tubes and glasses, e.g. for storing samples, tablets, and other sensitive materials that may not come into contact with plastic. The bottom ends of the tubes can be rounded or flat.

Our weighing bottles and micro beakers are used specifically for weighing and storing very small samples. These small containers are particularly suited for use on precision balances, as their empty weight is extremely low. They are available in a range of sizes.
Our microanalysis tubes are ideal for storing minimum quantities – also of materials and substances that are light sensitive.

As a special service, we offer glass tubes and cylinders with calibrated inside diameters. Hereby, a special tool is used to bring the internal diameter precisely to the desired shape and dimension. Apart from the standard circular shape, the tubes can also be square or conical. Moreover, the outer tube diameter can be calibrated by means of cylindrical grinding. This grinding procedure results in a matt outer surface, which can be corrected by subsequent “technical polishing”.

Cloning cylinders or rings are ideally suited for separate cloning if individual cells or cell groups on a nutrient solution. A specific cell or cell group is separated from the other cells in the nutrient solution by simply placing the cloning ring over it.

Boiling rods are ideally suited to prevent superheating during boiling or distillation in glass beakers or Erlenmeyer flasks. They are made of high-grade soda glass, are reusable, and excellently suited for many applications.
