The Tube Cutting Technology that is used at HitchDoc is noteworthy and pretty rare for fabrication shops across North America. A need developed in the industry to eliminate a variety of secondary processes when cutting square or round tube materials. In 2006, HitchDoc filled that need by allowing designers and engineers to get more creative and rethink the way they design by offering tube laser cutting.

HitchDoc’s Flat Laser Sheet Cutting is among the fastest in the industry with a movement up to 12,000 inches per minute from pierce to pierce. With multiple self-reliant machines that are able to robotically load and unload, efficiency is pivotal for customer satisfaction. Although speed and cut time are integral for customer cost, we make sure we provide smooth, quality cuts on stainless steel, plated materials, aluminum and other various sheet metals.

Our welding bay is very flexible. We’re able to MIG or TIG weld mild steel, stainless, or aluminum in a wide range of thicknesses. We have upwards of 20 welding stations that can be positioned to the most effective process depending on the jobs going through the shop. All building columns have jib cranes to help various stations along the length of the bay. We also have 2 overhead cranes for any extremely large and heavy projects spanning the full length of our welding, cleaning and shipping area.

We’ve saved our customers a multitide of money over the years by modifying their designs around our latest technology to lower production costs.
