HiTemp - Catalytic Oxidizer Systems
HiTemp manufactures one of the most efficient dual fuel electric and gas catalytic oxidizers on the market with applications for SVE, VOC, and CO emissions. We have developed technology for catalytic fume systems utilizing a two-pass design with preheat exchangers for VOC disposal. Destruction efficiency of our catalyst systems can be as high as 95% to 99% or more, with some of the lowest operating costs in the industry. SVE applications will typically have high VOC levels during the first few months of operation. For those applications we recommend using a thermal oxidizer containing a catalyst module. HiTemp thermal systems can operate safely with VOC levels as high as 50% and operating temperatures up to 2,000oF (1,093oC).
HiTemp - Recuperative Catalytic Oxidizer (RCO) Systems
HiTemp manufactures RCO systems that use an Air to Air preheat exchanger and a precious metal catalyst bed, allowing oxidation to occur at approximately 550-600oF (288-315oC). This lower temperature requirement reduces the amount of natural gas needed to fuel the VOC abatement system and the overall size of the incinerator. Catalysts typically used for VOC incineration include platinum and palladium. If design conditions are satisfied, typically no pre-treatment is required, however, in some cases, particulate matter removal may be necessary before the waste gas enters the incinerator. This is critical for both RCOs and RTOs as both require periodic cleaning. Periodic maintenance for cleaning the catalyst bed of an RCO can be accomplished using a high pressure shop vac. Unlike a HiTemp RCO, our competitors` RTO systems require a complete disassembly of the packing media for cleaning, which increases system maintenance cost and downtime.
HiTemp - Thermal Oxidizer and Fume Incinerators Systems
HiTemp manufactures thermal oxidizer systems, also called fume incineration systems, as well as one of the most efficient dual fuel electric and gas catalytic oxidizers on the market with applications for Soil Vapor Extractors (SVE), Volatile Organic Compunds (VOC), and Carbon (CO) emissions. We have developed technology in thermal and catalytic fume incineration systems utilizing a two-pass design with preheat exchangers for VOC disposal. Destruction efficiency of our catalyst systems can be as high as 95% to 99% or more, with some of the lowest operating costs in the industry. SVE applications will typically have high VOC levels during the first few months of operation. For those applications we recommend using a thermal oxidizer containing a catalyst module. Hitemp - Soil Vapor Extraction Systems
Hitemp offers the world`s first Catalytic Soil Vapor Extraction (SVE) Systems having the capability to operate as either an Electric or as a Gas Fired System. Our systems feature a unique design using a basic core shell with an integral Preheat Exchanger and catalyst module to achieve a 98% destruction efficiency. The catalyst module incorporates a flange for mounting an electric heating element or gas burner. Each heating system comes with a Nema-4 WP Panel and all necessary operating components. Our systems also allow customers to easily change the unit from electric to gas fired, or vice versa, in about 2 hours so a single system can be used for both electric or gas applications.
HiTemp - Municipal Solid Waste Dryer Systems
HiTemp Rotary Modules are specifically designed to reduce the moisture content of waste materials as municipal solid waste (MSW) typically contains 30% to 40% moisture content, which must be removed to allow processing and efficient destruction. Our Rotary Dryer Systems can work on both powders and sludge for removal of water, oil and solvents. Operating temperatures and process requirements determine system sizing, heating methods and production capacity. Many applications may require tests to be performed to optimize system design. Connections are also provided for steam and condensate or thermal fluids and can be located at either the feed or discharge points. Modules can be linked together, as needed to effectively reduce the moisture content of the waste materials. A separate system conveyor is used to feed the modules with each module being capable of processing 500kg per hour.
