For our customers that desire the marketing and merchandizing benefits of Klearfold plastic folding cartons, and have aggressive sustainable packaging goals, HLP Klearfold introduces our new Klearfold RPET100 premium-quality plastic folding cartons, independently certified as made from 100% postconsumer recycled (PCR) content PET.

When production volumes don`t justify the investment in injection molding tools, our patented Klearfold Keeper clear packaging system offers distinctive structural designs, similar to InSight, but at less cost. The Klearfold Keeper clear packaging system consists of a clear plastic sleeve that`s designed to lock to a vacuum-formed tray or clear plastic clamshell. Vac-trays and clamshells are fabricated to conform to the shape of the product and to the desired cross-sectional package profile.

Duofold combines the best attributes of clear, box-grade plastic and paperboard to produce a truly distinctive visual package. Combining these two dissimilar substrates allows for some very unique structural designs, while providing two distinctive visual, textural and tactile impressions.

Clear plastic tubes, rounds and ovals really stand out in a sea of rectangles on store shelves. We apply the same high-quality printing and decorating techniques to our rolled-edge tubes for a one-of-a-kind shelf presence. Our clear plastic tubes are extremely sturdy, providing a prestigious look and feel.

We are the world leader in radio frequency (RF) creasing. While other methods produce clear plastic boxes with stiff or fragile scores and sharp edges, our proprietary Soft Crease scoring technology uses RF energy to cause a controlled displacement of material from the score lines. This results in more uniform creases, with less folding resistance, ensuring that Klearfold^® clear plastic boxes fold precisely, have clean lines, and maintain their crisp shape. We are unique in our ability to RF crease APET and RPET box-grade plastics, to produce environmentally-preferred plastic boxes with superior strength and performance characteristics.

Having developed proprietary gluing systems, HLP Klearfold is extremely proficient at producing Soft Crease auto-bottom style clear plastic boxes. And for hand-fill applications, nothing compares. Our clear plastic boxes set up quickly and easily by hand, and time and motion studies reveal significant labor cost savings (up to 30%) over standard tuck cartons.
