The HED 6001 Monochrome LCOS Microdisplay is engineered for use in precise optical applications requiring high-definition imagery. Utilizing a reflective Liquid Crystal on Silicon (LCOS) technology, it offers a resolution of 1920 x 1080 full HD. This 0.7-inch display features a compact active area of 15.36 x 8.64 mm and a high aperture ratio of 93%, optimizing light efficiency. It supports an 8-bit grey level dynamic range, ensuring detailed image representation at a frame rate of 60 Hz. The microdisplay's contrast ratio exceeds 1000:1, though it is contingent on the optical system and polarizer components employed. With a robust reflectance of up to 78% at specific wavebands, its operational lifespan can extend to 20,000 hours when applied in RPTV systems. The product can be tuned to visible or near-infrared applications, with development kits available for extensive customization. The driver board, equipped with a dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 processor, runs on an embedded Linux system, facilitating versatile programming and synchronization with external systems.
