Versatile Size-reduction System
Versatile size-reduction system with exchangeable grinding elements such as: Beater disc, pin discs, swing beaters and plate beaters, sieves and grinding tracks. End-product fineness in the range 50 µm to approx. 5 mm in accordance with the grinding equipment installed. Generously dimensioned mill door for easy cleaning and exchange of grinding elements.
High-Pressure Roller Mill
With High Pressure Roller Mills products are produced with a precipitous granule distribution. The high pressure roller crusher is also called roller crusher or roller press.
Granulators and shredders
ALPINE - Granulator – Ro Rotoplex
This product line has almost achieved cult status. The concept and the sturdy machine design make it ideal for any cuttable material – especially if high cutting forces and high throughput rates are required. Although the classic in ALPINE`s granulator range, it is upgraded continually to accommodate the latest technology.
ALPINE - Fine Cutting Mill
The feed material, usually between 4 and 8 mm in size, is fed into the grinding zone via the intake chute on the mill door. Size reduction takes place between the axially adjustable stator disc and the rotating grinding disc, which rotates at a high peripheral speed in accordance with the shearing and cutting principle. The actual grinding is effected in stages through a grinding gap which tapers from the inside to the outside. The finely ground product exits the grinding zone through an exactly defined gap.
Table Roller Mill
ALPINE - Table Roller Mill
Table roller mills operate in accordance with the principle of pressure comminution, making them suitable for brittle but elastic feed products. The product is subjected to compressive stress between the grinding table and the grinding rollers. The specific grinding force (contact force divided by the cross-sectional area of the grinding roller) is in the range between approx. 0.5 and 1 N/mm², whereby the effective pressures in the material bed are naturally much higher. The grinding table is set into rotation by a motor and suitable gear unit, peripheral speeds of between 2 and 6 m/s are used. Because the gear unit has to absorb the forces of the grinding rollers, it is equipped with an axial friction bearing (segmented bearing).
Ball Mills and Agitated Media Mills
ALPINE - Horizontal Agitated Media Mill
An agitated media mill with a horizontal, cylindrical milling chamber that is universal in use for the continuous wet milling of particles down to the submicron range. The AHM agitated media mill was developed especially for suspensions with good flow properties where a steep particle size distribution and high end-product fineness are demanded. The mill is suitable for both continuous operation and for batch mode in the case of closed-circuit milling. The AHM is available in sizes suitable for the laboratory, the testing centre or for large-scale production. Alpine thus offers a complete product line to cover this range of processing tasks.
ALPINE - Super Orion Ball Mill
Ball mills are giant drums that are filled to between 30 and 40% of their volume with freely moving grinding media - in this case balls. The diameter of the balls is between one and several centimetres to suit the application - smaller balls for fine milling results and larger ones for coarser milling tasks.
