Our centrifugal fans are used to draw exhaust air from the Kiln preheater as well as the clinker cooler.  Our fans can also be used in the cooling process to circulate fresh air to the clinker to cool down the material.

The CubusTurbo by Howden utilises a permanent magnet motor and active magnetic bearing system to provide oil free frictionless operation. The active magnetic bearing system monitors the rotating shaft position up to 10,000 times per second to ensure vibration free operation. The CubusTurbo by Howden applies the Howden Dual Point Control system to provide the highest operating efficiency across the widest operating range ensuring that efficiency is optimised under ever-changing ambient conditions and plant demand.

Howden`s SG range of turbo blowers and compressors provide high efficiency over a wide operating range. Our range of turbo blowers encompasses industrial type blowers used in the power, mining and water industries, while our turbo compressors are best suited for API specification type applications in the downstream oil and gas industry. The SG range operates to a constant speed provided by a horizontally split gearbox that requires minimal maintenance and is encased within a compact package design.

A single stage integrally geared turbo compressor that has an advanced mechanical and aero-dynamical design and cutting edge control system. Each customised KA compressor is uniquely made to fit with a specific plant’s specifications thereby consuming significantly less energy. The EGR compressor is a single stage direct driven turbo compressor with an asynchronous motor and a variable frequency drive. The EGR compressor is vital when it comes to reduction of greenhouse gas emissions as the EGR compressor reduces the formation of Nitrogen Oxides in marine diesel engines, by up to 80%.

The SF series is a range of single-stage centrifugal turbo compressors with an overhung, semi-open impeller (3D design), supported by a separate bearing pedestal, direct driven or provided with a separate gearbox. With this design, featuring highest rigidity and optimised rotordynamic behaviour, the SF series serves the most demanding duties in its industries - like compression of corrosive, erosive and sticky gases and suitable for installation in harsh environments.

The SFG series is a range of integrally geared single-stage centrifugal turbo compressors. The semi-open impeller (3D design) is overhung mounted directly onto the high-speed shaft of the gearbox. Due to this design and the resulting minimum mechanical losses, the SFG series offers a very high efficiency and is the preferred solution for demanding duties in clean process gas or air service applications, even in harsh environments.
