Heat Exchangers - Double Tube Heat Exchangers

HRS - Model DTI Series - Industrial Double Tube Heat Exchanger

The HRS DTI Series is a complete stainless steel double tube heat exchanger designed for industrial applications. Because of its geometry the DTI Series is a true counter current heat exchanger; the product flows through the inner tube and the service fluid flows through the surrounding shell. Using our corrugation technology, both heat transfer and efficiency are increased over standard smooth tube heat exchangers. In addition, potential fouling is minimised. Expansion joint (bellows) is fitted in the shell to allow for differential expansion of the inner and outer tube during operation. Multiple units can be interconnected and have the options of frame mounting, insulated and cladded in stainless steel. The HRS DTI series is suitable for applications with fluids containing fibres or particles and low-high viscosity fluids.

HRS - Model DTR Series - Industrial Double Tube Heat Exchangers With Removable Tube

Based on the DTI Series, but with an adapted design for direct energy recovery (product vs product) for sludge with low viscosity. The inner tube is removable making it possible to inspect/clean both tube and shell side. It also allows for easier and faster cleaning consequently reducing operational downtime required for these high fouling products. The tube in tube concentric geometry makes it easy to work with fluids that contain particles, without having to worry about blockages impeding the flow of product. Special corrugated tubes are used to increase heat transfer and reduce fouling, making the DTR Series more efficient than similar smooth tube heat exchanger designs.

HRS - Model C Series - Industrial Multitube Heat Exchanger

The HRS C Series is a complete stainless steel shell and tube heat exchanger designed for industrial use, based on our K Series but with smaller tubes making the unit more compact. The product flows through the inner tubes and the service fluid flows through the surrounding shell. The HRS C Series is an ideal heat exchanger for steam-to-water applications such as CIP heating and low viscosity products. Using HRS corrugation technology, heat transfer and efficiency are increased over standard smooth tube heat exchangers. In addition, effects of fouling are minimised. The HRS C Series is suitable for applications with low viscosity fluid, CIP heating and general industrial applications.

HRS - Model G Series - Gas Cooling Heat Exchanger

The HRS G Series is a complete stainless steel multitube heat exchanger designed specifically for exhaust gas cooling and thermal recovery applications. Similar to the HRS K Series, the exhaust gases flow through the interior tubes and the service fluid flows through the surrounding shell. Using our corrugation technology, heat transfer and efficiency are increased over standard smooth tube heat exchangers. In addition, potential fouling is minimised. Expansion bellows are fitted to absorb the differential expansion between the shell and the inner tubes. Multiple units can be interconnected for larger applications. Options include frame mounting, insulation and stainless steel cladding. The HRS G Series is suitable for applications such as heat recovery from cogeneration exhaust gases, boiler exhaust gases, industrial exhaust and flue gases.

HRS - Model K Series - Industrial Multitube Heat Exchanger

The HRS K Series is a complete stainless steel shell and tube heat exchanger designed for industrial use. The product flows through the interior tubes and the service fluid flows through the surrounding shell. The K Series is an ideal heat exchanger for steam-to-water applications such as CIP heating. Using HRS corrugation technology, heat transfer and efficiency are increased over standard smooth tube heat exchangers. In addition, effects of fouling are minimised. Expansion bellows are fitted to absorb the differential expansion between the shell and the inner tubes and multiple units can be interconnected for larger applications. Options include frame mounting, insulation and stainless steel cladding. The HRS K Series is suitable for applications with low to medium viscosities, CIP heating and general industrial applications.

HRS - Concentration and Evaporation Systems

Evaporation is an efficient way of reducing the volume of effluents and wastes. Our evaporation systems raise effluent to its boiling point so that water is evaporated and then condensed, thus obtaining a concentrated end product and water. Forced recirculation uses a pump to send the product through the evaporator at high speeds, ensuring high velocity, good heat transfer and minimal fouling. Where possible we aim to integrate our evaporation systems with waste heat sources to achieve an effective sustainable process.

HRS - Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) Systems

Zero liquid discharge (ZLD) systems remove liquid waste streams from industrial plants and transform them into a cleaner liquid and with valuable solid by-products which can be sold or reused.

HRS - Asepticblock Mini Pasteuriser/Steriliser

The HRS Asepticblock mini has all the characteristics of the full scale version but on a smaller portable skid. The Asepticblock Mini Series is designed to sterilise foods for factories producing highly viscous products, and those containing particulates, such as fruit and vegetable purees and pulps, sauces and soup. It combines all process elements for manufacturers to complete food pasteurisation or sterilising along with an aseptic filler at a work rate of 250 to 1 ton of product per hour.

HRS - Model Asepticblock Series - Packaged Pasteuriser/Steriliser System

HRS Asepticblock Series is a packaged pasteuriser/steriliser and aseptic filler in a compact skid for thermal treatment and aseptic filling within a wide range of products for the food industry, with the same characteristics in quality and aseptic reliability as bigger size plants.

HRS - Concentration and Evaporation Systems

HRS evaporation systems are designed for concentration of products from juices and purees to tomato and liquid cheese based products. Application dependant, we use our corrugated tube or Unicus scraped surface heat exchangers as the evaporator, in a forced recirculation setup. Multiple effect systems or use of mechanical or thermal vapour recompression can be supplied, increasing savings.
