The state-of-the-art standard-solution for keeping floating materials as a follow-on solution to the fixed baffle, ideal for an upgrade. The baffle is used for holding floating materials at discharge equipment and thus ensures that the discharge of paper, hygiene articles, waste and other floating materials is reduced and prevented as much as possible. Floating baffles offer the advantage that they continuously adapt to the water level and thus to the retention effect.

The HSR-Screen is a state of the art overflow bar screen installed in all kinds of overflow structures of combined sewer channels (CSO). It is a full automatically operating system to retain floating debris and solids inside the sewer channel, preventing them of being released into the receiving waters without treatment. Therefore the HSR-Screen contributes significantly to a reduction of BOD being released into our natural waters during emergency overflows. The HSR high-performance screen is a horizontal bar screen with an automated cleaning system.

The shape of the AWS-tipping bucket constructed on the basis of FEM-models is characterized by an optimal torque curve and material usage rate with a low net weight and is the most modern construction on the market.

Segmental weirs are used anywhere where more precise regulation of the water volume is required at high water pressures. Due to the stress capacity principle, they can be operated with low torque and thus lower drive power. To be more economically, the frame-bar construction of the segmental weirs are fitted with a projecting baffle plate, with this they can be used for samller dam structures and drainage volumes.

HST - Airlift for Mixture and Circulating Wastewater With Coarse-Bubble Aeration

Airlift is a solution for mixture and circulating wastewater with coarse-bubble aeration. In this case, pipelines with special bores are linearly mounted on the pool wall above the tank bottom. The air is driven with determined pressure and the resulting bubbles circulate the wastewater in the pool. Since they are coarse bubbles that rise quickly to the surface and then strip, a solution of the oxygen in the wastewater is avoided. The intelligent automation solution TeleMatic controls the valves of the air lines. When using the airlift in denitrification tanks, oxygen measurements are installed and included in the automation solution. These measurements provide the certainty that in the circulation process, no oxygen goes into solution and is consumed by the bacteria.

HydroKlar FLOAT - Clean Water Discharge System

The „System Hydro-Klar“ clean water discharge equipment can be implemented in a variety of ways in both water supply systems and in waste water treatment plants. In SBR water treatment plants, they are used for the water level-based clean water separation during the SBR process. The automatic and optionally opacity measurement-regulated system conducts the clean water to the receiving water in a process-controlled manner (according to time and volume). By selecting the maximum extraction quantity, the reserves for the flushing process can be significantly increased. Using the supplied HydroMatic control, the regulation of the outflow quantity is based on the current water level.

HydroScum-FLAP - Sludge Extractors System

HydroScum-FLAP sludge extractors are attached to the sidewall of the permanent reservoir tank. They consist of a square drainage gutter equipped with an automatically adjustable switch guard. A measuring sensor records the water level with emerging sludge levels and draws the floating sludge by lowering the overflow edge. The HydroMatic control of the floating sludge extraction allows for different operating modes. The floating sludge can be automatically recognized via an optical device and this enables the fully automated extraction. The HydroScum-FLAP and HydroScum-FLOAT/P are HST-WKS licensed products.

In the flotation, the sludge flocs, grease or emulsion-containing substances are transported to the surface of the water by introducing micro-fine air bubbles. The use of a suitable auxiliary material for creating macro flocs in combination with the correct air bubble size leads to the best possible level of elimination. The pressure relief flotation ensures an optimal air bubble creation with a very high level of elimination, the know-how of the HST engineers guarantees the selection of suitable auxiliary materials and corresponding process efficiency.
