The Automatic Vertical Tong is used to move one or two coils in the eye-to-the-sky position and uses an automatic latching mechanism. The device or Grab offers a very secure method for carrying coils.  This type of lifter can be designed to grip both walls of the coil, one wall of the coil, or walls of different coils simultaneously.

This Motorized Coil Grab or Tong is used to move single coils with the eye of the coil in the horizontal position.  Hunter Lift utilizes two clutches on every design to protect the entire device from impact loads while in use.  This lifter can be fitted with saddle switches, coil edge switches, leg position feedback, and rotation.  This device can be completely controlled through PLC if desired

The single-coil C-Hook can be designed for a wide range of coil sizes.  All C-Hooks are counter weighted to hang within one degree of horizontal when empty.

The Double-coil C-Hook is used with a wide range of coil sizes. It can be designed with a plate bail, forged clevis, or a clevis with spool arrangement. All C-hooks are counterweighted to hang within one degree of horizontal when empty. This device can be designed for double coil lifts only or both double and single coil lifts

The Automatic Roundup Coil Tong or Grab is primarily used in the manufacturing of soft metal coils, such as Silicon Steel, Copper, and other non-ferrous metals. The Lifter Provides a large gripping area to reduce damage to the soft material. This device can also be used to make a flattened coil round again, which is the origin of its name.
