Hydrau-Tech has extensive experience in emergency flood response projects and have been designing scour countermeasures for over 200 scour critical/flood-damaged bridges in Colorado and New Mexico for the past six years. Hydrau-Tech specializes in analyzing, evaluating, and inspecting existing bridges, and advising structural engineers on the safety of bridges with respect to scour. They perform bridge modeling and design scour countermeasures for hundreds of bridges and are continuing to supervise construction of countermeasures. 

Hydrau-Tech performs a range of services for the evaluation, analysis, and design of new and existing geotechnical features. They have expertise and extensive knowledge in dam design (including tailing dams), slope stability analysis, foundation investigation, etc. 

Hydrau-Tech routinely uses drones for creating accurate and most up-to-date site topography needed for detailed hydraulic modeling. We also routinely use drone mapping for construction observations in documenting construction progress and accuracy of project implementations. In the following examples, drone inspections of scour countermeasure installation of Colorado department of transportation’s Structure G-25-F at 25 percent and 100 percent completion are shown. The drone inspection for the 25 percent completion was converted to a digital twin where installed rock sizes and constructed area measurements could be accurately verified.
