Hydro Safe Premium Hydraulic Fluids are ultimately biodegradable1 vegetable based formulas that replace mineral oil based hydraulic fluids. Hydro Safe Premium Hydraulic Fluids are formulated to perform in hydraulic systems that require Anti-Wear (AW), anti-rust, anti-oxidation, anti-foam, and demulsibility properties. They are highly inhibited against moisture and rusting in both fresh and sea water and pass both A and B Sequences of the ASTM D-665 Turbine Oil Rust Test. Incorporating the super high viscosity index of the Stabilized* High Oleic Base Stocks (HOBS) into the formula, increases the viscosity index past synthetic levels (Energy Conserving Formulas). Zinc-free additive systems have also been developed that are environmentally friendly and meet or exceed pump requirements. 

Hydro Safe® Food Grade™ Hydraulic Fluids are multi-functional biobased lubricants that contain ingredients, which are “Generally Regarded as Safe” (GRAS) for food processing equipment. These BioPreferredSM Fluids are formulated to perform in hydraulic systems and gear drives that require Anti-Wear (AW), anti-rust, antioxidation, anti-foam, and demulsibility properties. They are highly inhibited against moisture and rusting in both fresh and sea water and pass both A and B Sequences of the ASTM D-665 Turbine Oil Rust Test. Incorporating the super high viscosity index of the Stabilized* High Oleic Base Stocks (HOBS) into the formula, increases the viscosity index past synthetic levels (Energy Conserving Formulas). These food grade1 hydraulic fluids can be used in environmentally sensitive areas such as in agriculture, marine, and food processing plants. 

Hydro Safe Hydraulic Fluids are ultimately biodegradable1 vegetable based formulas that meet and exceed Vickers M2950-S, Vickers 1-286-5, U.S. Steel 126, U.S. Steel 127, and U.S. Steel 136. They have been USDA Biobased tested to show new carbon (vegetable oil) at > 96% and they are Specially formulated to offer the lowest toxicity in aquatic conditions. They are an excellent choice for inner plant applications (ie. Steel Mills) as fire resistant (FR) hydraulic fluids, with exceptional oxidation stability (RBOT 350-400 minutes) exceeding US Steel minimum requirement of 120 minutes. Although they have a pour point of -25°C and -30°C, care must be taken if used in hydraulic systems setting static below -10°C for extended periods.

Casing Filler E-800-HB is available to provide excellent dielectric filler material between the casing and the cylinder. The following information describes the product as indicated. H-B signifies a heavy concentration of rust inhibitor.
