Hydrolox™ traveling screens are the most robust and longest lasting screens available today, offering more operational efficiency and production time by protecting downstream equipment and drastically reducing maintenance and cleaning labor.

Traditional chain-driven basket screens are not fully sealed on the sides, leading to bypass of debris and aquatic life. Hydrolox screens have a permanent stainless steel side seal, which prevents bypass and never needs to be replaced.

To provide maximum protection to aquatic life, screens should be rotated continuously, which for traditional chain-driven screens means increasing maintenance costs. Hydrolox screens were designed from their inception to operate 24/7/365 virtually maintenance free.

In a traditional screen design, all the force is transmitted to the center of the basket, which isn’t capable of handling the extreme force. Hydrolox screen mesh runs on top of a stainless-steel, chevron-patterned carryway, enabling our screens to handle higher debris loads than any screen on the market.
