Onsite and Offsite Services for Every Stage of Water Management

Hydrozonix onsite services include water recycling and reuse, as well as optimizing storage and transfer through aeration and automation services. We work with operators to coordinate all water management steps, so we can combine superior tanks, pumps, transfer lines, and impoundments with our advanced water treatment technology while automating the entire process.

Recirculation and Re-Treatment for Superior Disinfection

With Hydrozonix, you can be certain that water is treated properly before it reaches the blender. Our ozone-based treatment units provide superior bacteria disinfection while oxidizing sulfides and iron. Because our systems do not require liquid chemicals, they can operate continuously without increasing cost, allowing you to recirculate and treat water from the working tanks when they are dirty, or to recirculate the water source between frac stages, during wireline operations. This recirculation process provides water quality assurance and prevents problems with contaminated surface equipment and working tanks. This highly effective approach cannot be achieved economically by technologies that depend on liquid chemicals for disinfection because they require additional chemicals, but with ozone, the raw material to perform this treatment is the surrounding air.

Hydrozonix - On-The-Fly Water Treatment Services

Hydrozonix's On-The-Fly water treatment system leverages an advanced ozone-based mobile oxidation technology to treat flowback and produced water. It effectively disinfects water and oxidizes iron and sulfides without relying on liquid chemicals, which can pose compatibility issues with frac fluids. Capable of handling up to 100 barrels per minute, the system operates efficiently without creating a waste stream, thereby minimizing operational, chemical, and disposal costs. Automated real-time sensors monitor influent and effluent water quality, allowing precise adjustments to ensure treatment effectiveness. This system integrates seamlessly into fracturing operations, offering significant cost savings by eliminating the need for additional chemicals, reducing friction in treated water, and allowing for lower pump pressures. The mobile units are particularly suitable for treating large volumes stored in tanks or ponds, ensuring reliable and consistent frac water quality across various U.S. basins.
