Work Package 6 - Management Training
Efficient coordination and management of the project activities. Provide smooth progress, timely reporting and successful completion of the project.
Work Package 2 - Training Materials Development
Update the International Curriculum on hydrogen safety training for First Responders to reflect the state-of-the-art and recent advancements in the field. Develop scientifically informed educational training materials, to include written materials and consolidation of relevant engineering tools. Review and update the European Emergency Response Guide (EERG) for responders to reflect interventions and strategies for new scenarios. Advance Virtual Reality training materials for responders to reflect new scenarios. Extend the bespoke operational training platform created in HyResponse to reflect new scenarios.
Work Package 5 - Dissemination and Sustainability Training
Develop and deliver a comprehensive dissemination, outreach and communication plan, establishing links with ongoing projects and networks. Establish and facilitate a Stakeholder Advisory Board. Found a Pan-European network of first responder trainers. Create an International e-Forum for responders. Provide recommendations on a pathway to establish the HyResponder training as the recognised standard in Europe.
Work Package 3 - Train the Trainer Programme
Establish national training clusters in 10 European countries. Deliver short courses in educational, virtual reality and operational training to trainers who will use the knowledge and skills gained to deliver national training. Analyse and synthesis and action on feedback gained from trainers on their training to enhance the training provision and inform the delivery of national training.
Work Package 1 - Hydrogen Safety Provisions and Training of Responders
Critically analyse progress in the state of the art in hydrogen safety knowledge technologies, systems and infrastructure, specifically advancements since completion of the HyResponse project. Identify requirements for professional knowledge and skills, based on the state-of-the-art and through sharing of experience and best international practice in the training of responders to tackle accidents involving hydrogen. Select and prioritise emergency scenarios involving hydrogen and identify intervention tactics and strategies.
