Series 1500 Laminated Bellows Expansion Joints are designed for installations where the principal movement is axial. Standard designs are 2” through 14” NPS with 2” or 3”axial compression. Service conditions are 150 PSIG or 300 PSIG to 500°F.

Series 1507-1510 Hyflex Single Bellows Expansion Joints typically used for axial compression or extension. Limited lateral and angular motions are also supported.

Series 3500 Externally Pressurized Expansion Joints are designed for installations where the principal movement is axial. Standard single and dual designs are available 2” through 24” NPS with 4” through 16” axial compression. Service conditions are 150 and 300 psig to 500°F. Welded and flanged end connections are standard, with grooved ends optional.

Series 5500 Bellows Pump Connectors are designed for installation adjacent to mechanical equipment to isolate vibration, absorb small pipe movements and to provide flexibility during installation. The bellows element is laminated (3 ply minimum) for maximum flexibility and fatigue resistance. Standard configurations include integral full thrust limit rods to react the full pressure thrust or compression for vacuum conditions.

Series 7500 formed bellows can be used in assemblies and for applications that are only limited by your imagination. Hyspan is ready to assist you from preliminary design to final testing. The company maintains extensive engineering capability for the design of metal bellows and related hardware, and has complete facilities for prototype production and development testing. Once developed Hyspan has unparalleled capability for volume production at company owned facilities at five locations.

Series 2509-2511 Round Laminated Bellows Expansion Joints include 3 plies for maximum flexibility or  internal vibration dampening. Service is for extreme axial motions or direct installation on vibrating equipment such as engine exhaust manifolds, turbochargers, and fan connections. Sizes range from 3″ and larger pipe and tube sizes, with standard fixed or floating flanges, and weld end connections. Hyspan has the capability to manufacture expansion joints with diameters up to 20 feet. Options are available with stainless steel wetted surfaces or all stainless steel construction for elevated or cryogenic temperatures and corrosion resistance.

Series 2504-2507 Round Single Ply joints are highly flexible. Service is for thermal motions in pipe or duct systems. Standard sizes range from 6″ through 48”. Hyspan has the capability to manufacture expansion joints with diameters up to 20 feet. Standard end connections are fixed flange, floating flange, angle flange, and weld end. Options are available with stainless steel wetted surfaces or all stainless-steel construction for elevated or cryogenic temperatures and corrosion resistance.

Hyspan Barco Ball Joints are available in standard and custom configurations 1/2″ through 30″ nominal pipe size. The following unpacked and packed configurations are available that will meet most requirements.

Series 6500 Packed Expansion Joints are designed for installations where the principal movement is axial. Standard single and dual designs are available 2″ through 24″ diameter with travels of 4″, 8″ and 12″ compression for single designs, and 8″, 16″ and 24″ compression for dual designs. Service conditions are 150 and 300 psig to 500°F. Welded and flanged end connections are standard, with grooved ends optional.

Series 4500 Metal Hose Pump Connectors are designed to be adjacent to mechanical equipment to isolate vibration, absorb small movements and to facilitate installation. The metal hose and braid are heavy duty industrial weight products. Hyspan Metal Hose Pump Connectors are manufactured by Universal Hose & Braid and inventoried in Chicago.
