The Main frame contain of main corner posts, lifting lugs, forklift pockets, drip tray and spill tray. Secondary structure will contain the main bearing, brackets for hydraulic motor and safety barrier & hatch at the connection point of the Black Eagle Hose.The spooling device is mounted for Top Spooling in fixed position and has automatically spooling function with the possibility for manual override and overriding. Guiding rollers can be hydraulically opened – such that the Black Eagle hose fitting (10k flange) can be easily lifted in and out of the device.Hydraulic proportional valves are operating reel drum, both in and out, override & manually control position of the level wind, open/ close Level wind roller and control in/ out A-Frame.

The reel is driven by an air powered HPU with two separate motor/pumps. Both pumps can be used separately and in parallel. Two- step hydraulic motor can drive the drum with speed up to 24 m/min at 1,25 Ton tension or 12 m/min with 2,5 Ton (at first layer). To achieve max. speed both pumps must be running. With operation with only one pump the speed is halved, but the pull force is the same.In case of limited air supply, it can be beneficial to only use one pump.The installation of the two pump HPU is a benefit for the safety of the system as the reel can be used with only one pump operational.The reel is equipped with a 2-speed motor and a selector valve. When the reel is set-in high-speed mode the hydraulic motor displacement is reduced from 468ccm to 234ccm. The speed will then double, and the pulling force will be halved.

Built in 7,5 kW electric power unit require standard 400 VAC supply and is design to provide necessary power to clamp the pipe with pressure up to 10 ton.Maximum torque can be adjusted up to 2,7 kNm (2000 ft/lb).Each clamping arm is operated by separate section for precise and secure adjustments around the pipe.

In the corner of the Storage boxes are installed RUD Eyes for internal transport. Boxes can be transport with use of Forklift truck. Position for placing forks is clearly marked on the sides.Boxes are produced with carbon steel and painted according to NORSOK standard. Water sealed aluminum cover plate can be fully open to protect hinges.Manual installed locking bar ensure that Bop Rans will stay is safe position during transport operation.Corner parts of the storage box is design to allowed vertical stacking, with maximum of 3 boxes.

The HY-Vice has an internal HPU and only requires 220V power supply.HY -Vice has an internal Hydraulic power pack and electric control system for operating the HY-Vice up and down.In front of the top clamping arm there is two 24 Volt push button for operating the HY-Vice up and down. By pushing the green button, the vice will start to close, and by releasing the button the Hy-Vice stops automatically. The same functions to open the Vice. This give the operator an extra safety function as the power pack is only running while the Hy-Vice is in operated by pushing the buttons.
