Critical Extractor
IFLUIDTEC - Model SWE - Subcritical Water Extraction System
The Subcritical Water Extraction System (SWE) is an advanced extraction technology that operates at temperatures between 100 and 374 degrees Celsius, under pressures high enough to maintain water in its liquid state. This method leverages water's unique properties, such as its high dielectric constant and polarity, along with a significant reduction in permittivity and surface tension with temperature increase, to efficiently extract polar materials from various substrates. Such systems are advantageous for eco-friendly and safer chemical processing. The system contains main components like an extractor, plunger pump, evaporator, and vacuum pump, installed within a stainless steel framework. These features enable a sequence of procedures, including leaching and solid-liquid separation, to extract target compounds effectively. SWE is an appealing choice for applications requiring efficient extraction under subcritical water conditions, offering reduced environmental impact and improved safety.
