Construction Services
IGES employees a specially trained and experienced staff to support both owners and contractors involved in a wide variety of construction projects from small scale short duration projects to multidisciplinary projects lasting years. In addition to our engineering design capabilities, IGES has the in-house ability to perform field testing of our designs. The ability to provide real time data to our clients enables them to make project modifications that save both time and ultimately money while maintaining project quality.
Geotechnical Laboratory Services
IGES maintains a state-of-the-art geotechnical testing laboratory with services ranging from index testing to advanced strength and permeability testing. Complete geotechnical testing services are available in our 3,500 square foot testing facility located in Salt Lake City, Utah. IGES has the ability to design and perform specialty tests to meet unique project needs and design requirements.
Waste Management / Environmental Remediation
Waste site remediation experience extends from feasibility studies and preliminary site characterization through remedial design and its implementation. Our staff has extensive experience in the innovative and cost effective application of bentonite amended soils used in caps and liners and soil mixed containment using either slurry walls, deep soil mixing (DSM) or jetted grout barriers. Mix design for waste stabilization is also a strength of our staff. IGES specializes in the use of various geosynthetics in our designs to provide cost effective and environmentally responsible solutions.
