The magic LAB® is a unique and multi-functional small-scale laboratory machine. It is designed for mixing, dispersing, wet milling and incorporation of powders into liquids. The magic LAB® is most frequently used for the development of new products or for optimizing of existing process techniques, particularly in the chemical, cosmetic, pharmaceutical and food industries. It is an ideal machine for continuous, circulating and batch processing with interchangeable modules. Many work parameters of the magic LAB® are identical to those of the IKA 2000 inline production machines: UTL, DR, CMS, MHD, MK and MKO. Therefore, the magic LAB® ensures a reliable scale-up by offering the possibility to work with the same method from formulation development to mass production.

The LABOR-PILOT is a compact and multi-purpose inline laboratory dispersing machine. It is designed for solid-liquid mixing, homogenizing, emulsifying, suspending and wet milling. The LABOR-PILOT 2000/4 is suitable for wide range of applications, particularly in the chemical, cosmetic, pharmaceutical, plastics, colours and food industries. It is uniquely designed with the advance technology and is available with six interchangeable modules. It can be customized to fit particular procedural demands. Important process parameters such as circumferential speed, tools and mixing chamber geometry are structurally identical to those of the IKA 2000 inline production machines: UTL, DR, DRS, MHD, MK and MKO. Therefore, the LABOR-PILOT ensures a reliable scale-up by offering the possibility to work with the same method from formulation development to mass production.

The IKA C-Mag HS 7 control has a square top made of ceramic. It stirs volumes of up to 20l (H2o) and runs at speeds ranging from 50-1500rpm. IKA’s stands strongly by its product and technology and is offering a lifetime warranty for this product – scientists can focus on their experiments using a reliable hotplate stirrer. IKA not only focuses on hardened glass because of visibility, chemical resistance and safety, it also optically changes the game of a magnetic stirrer with a glass surface. The C-Mag HS 7 control improves over time with regular firmware updates – control of kinetics and sensitive reactions are supported by the integrated timer and counter function – the IKA SmartTemp® function protects user intelligently. The IKA ULTRA-TURRAX UTL 2000 is inline high-performance single-stage dispersing machine used for the production of emulsions and suspensions. The UTL 2000 uses the rotor-stator principle and is best suited for continuous applications that cannot be accomplished using conventional stirring methods. The UTL single stage dispersing machine is equipped with a mixing tool (generator) that provides moderate shear for the general purpose of blending and homogenizing processes. In order to configure the UTL to meet a variety of application needs, IKA offers a wide selection of generators for all machine sizes. Different generator designs allow adjusting the level of dispersing energy. In addition, they are also designed to accommodate materials of different viscosities and initial particle size.

The lower-priced ULTRA-TURRAX UTL 1000 machines are particularly multifunctional and are used for the mixing, dispersing (emulsifying/suspending) and homogenizing of solid and liquid substances up to viscosities of several thousand mPa·s, such as honey, plastic masses and crèmes. The mixing components are fed into the machine at the inlet connection. The materials are mixed, homogenized and then discharged from the machine via the outlet connection. The machine does not have automatic suction, but does have a conveyor height of up to 20 meters.

The overhead stirrer NANOSTAR 7.5 digital is 30 % smaller than the MICROSTAR 7.5 digital and therefore even more space-saving. However, its performance remains the same. NANOSTAR 7.5 digital convinces with perfect basic functionalities, its compact design and is with just 0,8 kg easy to handle.

Digital rotator for smooth but effective mixing with adjustable speed. Ideal for biological samples, particularly blood samples. Suitable for separating and mixing processes of powdered and liquid samples in Eppendorf tubes and Greiner tubes up to 50 ml. The easy removable attachments allow simple and quick cleaning of the unit of spilled samples.

The new IKA UTTD power control disperser gets its name from an even more powerful motor. The disperser assures the best stirring, dispersing, grinding and homogenisation results and has been devised in particular for the safe processing of infectious, toxic or odour-intensive samples.

The CMX 2000 inline mixer incorporates powders into liquids and mixes these materials reliably and consistently in a batch process. Its multi-level design and unique pumping stage enables processing of high viscosity products without any additional aggregates.
