CD1d Dextramer - Identify NKT Cells Flow Cytometry
NKT cells are associated with a broad range of diseases such as autoimmune, infectious, cancer, and graft versus host disease. CD1d Dextramer® are flow cytometry reagents that can identify CD1d restricted NKT cells. CD1d Dextramer reagents consist of a protein-stabilizing dextran backbone, an optimized number of CD1d lipid complexes, and fluorophores (PE, APC, or FITC) or no Fluorophore (None). We manufacture CD1d Dextramer where the CD1d lipid complexes are loaded with the glycolipid alpha-Galactosyl Ceramide (α-GalCer) and CD1d Dextramer without a lipid for you to load another lipid, or create a negative control reagent.
Disease Panels - Flow Cytometry
Understanding the Role of Immunity in Cancer and Infectious Diseases. Dextramer reagents are designed to detect and identify the broad spectrum of cells involved in immunity. To support high-quality precision monitoring in cancer and infectious disease, Immudex has created disease-specific panels of selected Dextramer reagents. Detect, quantify and isolate antigen-specific T-cells without missing the low-affinity ones from tissue or blood, and gain insights to better inform treatment decisions.

Dextramer - CMV Kit - In Vitro Diagnostics
Transplant patients are particularly susceptible to high morbidity and mortality from cytomegalovirus (CMV) infection due to suppression of cell-mediated immunity following transplant. With worldwide infection incidences of 60 to 80%, carefully monitoring post-transplant immune reconstitution of CMV-specific CD8+ T cells is essential for appropriate prophylactic or preemptive treatment1 while balancing the costs and potential toxicity (e.g., nephrotoxicity, peripheral blood cytopenia) associated with antiviral drugs.
