Imo Pump products

Series 3E pumps are provided for differential pressures to 150 PSIG (10 Bar) and flow rates to 100 GPM (375 L/M).  Mountings include foot or flange.   Casing materials are either cast iron or steel.  These three screw pumps are used for fuel oil transfer and burner services, machinery lubrication and other industrial pumping applications.  Units without shaft seals can operate at very high speeds on lubrication services when drive by the machine being lubricated.  3E series pumps are also available in canned motor/pump configurations up to 6 HP (4.5 kW). 

Series 3G pumps are provided for differential pressures to 250 PSIG (17.2 Bar) and flow rates to 55 GPM (208 L/M).  Mountings include foot or flange.   Casing materials are either cast iron or steel.  These three screw pumps are used for distillate fuel oil transfer and burner services, machinery lubrication and other industrial pumping applications.  Most sizes are available with a tamper resistant built-in pressure relief valve for protection of the pump from momentary pressure overloads.

The 3D series pumps is a general purpose design suitable for many applications including lubrication, fuel transport and burner service, low pressure hydraulic applications and hydraulic elevator service.   Pump shaft is generously sized to allow belt drive if desired (mechanical seal versions only). This series is available in magnetic drive configurations.

Series 6D is a medium pressure pump line finding extensive use on fuel oil burners, high pressure trunion lubrication for ball mills, crude oil pipeline service and non-cyclic hydraulic applications.

The 4SFC series pump is intended primarily as a medium pressure fluid power pump. It is available foot or flange mounted.

The 4VKC series pump is intended primarily as a medium pressure fluid power pump. It is available foot or flange mounted.

Series USNP/4PIC are designed for direct drive via submerged two pole electric motors.  They supply pressurized fluid to hydraulic elevator cylinders.

Series 12D Imo pumps are intended for relatively high pressure service on petroleum or similar viscosity liquids. Typical applications include crude oil pipeline service, fuel atomization for burning in a steam boiler, fuel injection for combustion gas turbines, fluid power service on hydraulically operated machinery, gas sealing in centrifugal compressors and hydrostatic bearing support. These pumps are hydraulically balanced in both the axial and radial directions which eliminates bearing loads due to discharge pressure. The single bearing is external to the liquid pumped and does not rely on the lubricating qualities of the pumped liquid. The single mechanical seal is exposed only to inlet pressure. Very low airborne noise levels are normal for Imo three screw positive displacement pumps as are high operating efficiencies and non-pulsating delivery of flow.

The 4U series pump is intended primarily as a medium pressure fluid power pump.   It is available foot or flange mounted and is suitable for cyclic pressure service.  The 4T series is produced in a cast steel casing with a combined foot/flange mounting arrangement.  The pump is primarily used for medium pressure gas sealing applications on compressors.

The 6U series pump is intended primarily as a high pressure fluid power pump.   It is available foot or flange mounted and is suitable for cyclic pressure service.  The 6T series is produced in a cast steel casing with a combined foot/flange mounting arrangement.  The pump is primarily used for medium pressure gas sealing applications on compressors.
