Exhaust Gas Silencers

IMS - Industrial Silencer

Our industrial silencers are of absorptive type, suitable for vertical and horizontal installations. The design gives good attenuation in the higher frequency octave band widths and is, therefore, versatile in its application as an intake or exhaust silencer on fan blowers, centrifugal compressors, internal combustion engines, and small low-pressure gas vents and steam ejectors.

IMS - Residential Silencers

Our residential exhaust silencers are of high degree attenuation design recommended for use on stand-by or continuous running applications such as in hospitals, schools or residential areas. Highly efficient and advanced in design, they are primarily used on two and four stroke internal combustion engine exhausts and occasionally on compressor intakes.

IMS - Critical Silencer

Our critical range of exhaust silencer has been designed to meet the increasingly stringent noise criteria required in a pollution conscious environment.

IMS - Spark Arrestor

Our range of exhaust spark arrestor silencers are of high efficiency capable of removing 99% of all particles of 10 microns and larger.

IMS - Steam Vent Silencer

The term vent silencer was derived simply for silencers used to attenuate noise produced by the expansion of Gas, Steam or Air at elevated temperatures to atmospheric pressure. Vent silencers serve a two fold purpose:

IMS - Air Intake Silencer

When a large diesel or gas powered two/four stroke engine or turbine is used, large quantities of air are drawn into the equipment for combustion purposes. These Air induction systems may be naturally aspirated or use turbo chargers or compressors to increase the air pressure fed into the fuel mixing chambers or cylinders to increase efficiency or performance.

IMS - Air Inlet & Extract Attenuator

A substantial amount of machinery, including diesel generator sets, is often sited in purpose-built plant rooms. This causes two potential problems:

IMS - Acoustic Door

It has long been understood that excessive noise can affect employee’ health and hearing and so damage their well-being and productivity. As the effects have been increasingly recognised and understood, the demand for efficient protection has risen. Choose from three levels –30dB, 38dB and 45dB – to provide a high degree of noise control.
