Sewer and Drainage Services
Sewer Route Surveys Services
High accuracy in-sewer surveys undertaken to provide internal alignment, invert level and necessary detail of pipes, tunnels, chambers and adits. With this level of accuracy, relaxation of statutory easements can often be negotiated, allowing developments that may otherwise be jeopardised, to be successfully undertaken.
Specialist Consulting Services
Surveys and investigations of individual sewers or entire catchments are undertaken. Fault diagnosis and recommendations provide solutions to long term cleansing, flooding or internal conditions related problems. The application of new and old, but proven technology is considered and tailored to resolve problems in the most cost effective and ecological manner.
Other Specialist Services
Construction Services
Geotechnical site investigation and appraisal undertaken to assess the nature of the ground and ground water conditions of any site. To assess and design the most appropriate foundation or piled solution for any proposed developments. To undertake permeability or soakage testing etc.
In-Sewer Coring Services
Diamond drilling services undertaken in confined spaces i.e. chambers and man-entry sewers to assess construction detail and further to ascertain structural integrity and examine identified defects such as voids etc.
Sewer Jetting and Root Cutting Services
Infotec Consulting provide the opportunity to utilise the most effective high pressure water jetting techniques available and robotic cutting system to remove stubborn tap, fibrous roots and heavy scale crustacean. Utilising approved sub-contractors all works are implemented under our direction.
Leak Detection Services
Leaks are pinpointed by use of either a “Leak Noise Correlator” capable of high levels of location accuracy. Alternatively a “Sensistor” gas insertion system can be used where multiple leaks are suspected, low and medium density plastic pipes are used or little or no information is known about the route of the distribution. Noise Loggers provide a cost-effective method of surveying to identify areas of possible leakage requiring further investigation. They operate remotely and have the advantage of not interrupting the continuous operation of the distribution area.
