At IEA, we design, build and repair bridges and overpasses for pedestrian and vehicle traffic in all kinds of terrain and locations. Our experts are skilled in bridge design, building and rehabilitation, from site surveys and analysis, to detailed planning, estimating, engineering and construction management. Our heavy civil team has all the tools necessary to build a timber, concrete or steel bridge on land or over waterways. We carry out the deep foundation work, starting with sub-structure preparation, mass excavation and earthwork. Depending on the bridge specifications we have the capabilities to drive steel and concrete piles, pour caissons, form and strip or cast in place concrete structures to support the bridge and meet the client’s specifications. With our skilled team we can also build trestles, construct cofferdams, and lift heavy bridge beams safely and efficiently.
