Adelmann - CRT Ray Tube Recycling Cathode Plant

CRT - Pre-shredder

Our ADELMANN Pre-shredder (AVZ) is a universal shredder system consisting of a robust machine housing and a cutting mechanism which uses two parallel cutting shafts which are driven by a counter rotating mechanism.

Granulator

Our product is a single-rotor shredder which is fitted with cutting blocks, the number of which depends on the shredder size. As the blocks rotate, material is pushed against the one or two opposing static blades and is shredded. The material is shredded until it reaches a shredded size which enables it to pass through the sieve. The diameter of the sieve´s holes defines the anticipated size of the output material. An optional hydraulic mechanism is available to feed material into the shredding process. This increases significantly the throughput, especially for light materials.

Adelmann Briquetting Presses

Adelmann - Briquetting Presses

The discharge arm takes the material out from the press silo and moves it onto a spiral-conveyor. The spiral-conveyor moves the material to a spiral compressor. From there it arrives pre-compressed into the compression space of the briquetting press.  The material is compressed by an oscillatory piston within a conical pipe producing an endless cord. This cord is moved into a hydraulic press that compresses further. We offer four different types of briqetting press, each with different throughputs and briquettes diameters of (Ø 45, Ø 55, Ø 65, Ø 75 mm). Throughputs to circa 1,500 kg/h can be reached depending on the briquette quality and favoured material consistency. The briquetting process and the material input into the press silo can be carried out automatically or manually.
