The AvSim Training Course introduces attendees to the AvSim and Weibull modules of Availability Workbench. Introduction and Course Overview: An introduction to reliability parameters, availability and reliability, failure frequency, constant failure rates, Weibull distributions, and the bath-tub curve. How Simulation Works: Employing Monte Carlo simulation techniques to model random component failures and solve complex dependency problems. System Logic: AWB allows users to construct either Reliability Block Diagrams or Fault Tree diagrams to model system failures and loss of production. This section teaches the construction of the logic diagram, compares RBD and Fault Tree methodologies, and explains capacity logic.

The RCMCost Training Course introduces attendees to the RCMCost and Weibull modules of Availability Workbench. Introduction and Course Overview: An introduction to reliability parameters, availability and reliability, failure frequency, constant failure rates, Weibull distributions, and the bath-tub curve. How Simulation Works: Employing Monte Carlo simulation techniques to model random component failures and solve complex dependency problems. Reliability-Centered Maintenance methodology: The RCMCost training course instructs users how to use the program to optimize the maintenance policies to maximize availability or minimize cost. FMEA Hierarchy: Constructing a failure modes and effects hierarchy that graphically shows the functional relation of components, their failure modes, and causes.

This course provides an introduction to the standard methods applied in reliability and safety studies. This workshop course utilizes the Reliability Workbench computer program.

While Isograph`s open training courses are ideal for small groups of attendees, it is often the case that a company will require training for a larger group of engineers.
