Ball Valves

Floating Valves

Floating type valves are composed of a movable sphere inside two seats. The thrust that the ball undergoes towards the seat, once the valve is closed, blocks the flow passage. This type of valve is suitable for low pressure applications on small dimensions. Floating valve seats are made of non-metallic materials such as: PTFE, RPTFE, PEEK, DEVLON, NYLON, KEL-F, etc.

Trunnion Top Entry Valves

Top Entry valves are assembled from the top; this allows the application of the same inside a piping system,  facilitating their dismantling for maintenance if required. For this reason the Top Entry valves can be repaired even if they are already mounted to the system itself as they ensure a two-way closure with two independent seats. Top Entry valves are designed and developed for the management of systems where maintenance is required without removing the valves from the pipeline ensuring easy maintenance. Thanks to the precision of our design and production, our finished product guarantees high safety standards.

Trunnion Side Entry Valves

Side entry ball valves are assembled laterally. Each part of the body is assembled by bolts for easy maintenance. This type of valve is suitable for high pressure piping systems. The internal ball allows for easy use, minimizing torsional wear and gasket wear. Side Entry valves are usually operated with gears, manual levers, electric or pneumatic actuators. Thanks to the precision of our design and production, our finished product guarantees high safety standards.

Fully Welded Trunnion Valves

The fully welded design of the Fully Welded Valves eliminates potential fluid leaks to the outside. As a main feature, these types of valves consist of a closure welded to the body unlike the Side Entry and Top Entry, whose closures are fixed to the body by means of bolts. Thanks to the precision of our design and production, our finished product guarantees high safety standards. Different test procedures are used to confirm the resistance of the entire ball valve. Despite their robust design, our valves represent an economic solution, especially in the long run.

High Temperature Ball Valves

Metal seated valves are designed for abrasive service or for operation in temperatures that prohibit the use of a resilient material. The seating action is provided by the metal-to-metal contact between the ball and the seat rings. Seating faces are hard-faced. The main feature of metal seated valves is the ability to withstand higher temperatures and more severe service conditions than regular soft seated valves. Metal seats can resist high temperatures up to 550°C, endure severe flashing, abrasive process fluid and hydraulic shock. They are also fit for high erosion/corrosion applications. Metal seats can be hardened with ultrasonic coating, chromium carbide, tungsten carbide.

Double Block & Bleed

ItalBest Valve manufactures the most complete line of high quality double ball DBB (Double Block & Bleed valves). It is the best choice for safety and when is necessary to optimize space having  two spheres in a small space. ItalBest Valve designs double ball DBB valves with adjustable flow pressure drain plugs in the middle. Our double ball DBB valve can perform the tasks of 3 separate valves (2 isolated valves and 1 drain valve) which, apart from being extremely space saving, can also save on weight and time due to installation and maintenance practicability, requiring much less work and all 3 valves being located in one body. Double Block & Bleed Valves operate on the principle that isolation can be achieved from both the upstream and downstream process flow / pressures.

Valve

Plug Valves

Plug Valves are valves with a conical or cylindrical coupling that can be rotated inside the valve body to control the flow. The coupling, in this type of valve, has one or more cavities that flow along it allowing the fluid to flow through it when the valve is open. The various applications of these valves are: high temperatures and high pressures, corrosive, lethal, toxic and sub-zero fluids.
