ITASCA Software training

As well as regularly scheduled introductory and focused topic trainings, Itasca offers customized training modified precisely to your needs. Our experienced engineers use Itasca software in a wide variety of geoengineering studies. Customized training can match you with an instructor whose examples and presentations, along with hands-on exercises, are designed to provide new and experienced users with the knowledge needed to apply Itasca software proficiently. These client-requested training courses can range from several hours to several days. The customized course will consist of instruction related to engineering application of Itasca software as it applies to your company. Instruction is available remotely, at an Itasca office, or at your location.

Itasca provides client-requested training courses on a variety of advanced engineering topics in the application of geomechanics, hydrogeology, and microseismic. Instruction is available either at Itasca or at the client`s location and can range in length from several hours to several days depending on the topic and depth of information requested. The course may, or may not, incorporate Itasca software and will focus on providing participants with a recommended approach for effectively analyzing and engineering the requested topic(s). Examples of consulting courses Itasca has provided include: slope stability, dynamic analysis for earthquake simulation, underground tunnels, groundwater flow, and microseismic evaluation.

The IEP Teaching Program provides licenses to qualifying professors or universities for use by students - up to 10 additional licenses for each current copy of software owned. There may be a fee to initiate involvement in the IEP Teaching Program, depending upon the type of license issued.
