IWR - Bag Filter Vessel

The IWR bag filter is a water filtration system. The water enters a vessel that contains a bag with very fine holes. The holes in the bag are between 5 and 10 microns. After the water enters the vessel, the fine holes trap all the unwanted particles that contaminate the water. After all the water has dropped through the bad, if flows out of the vessel.

IWR - Vapour Phase Vessels

IWR AS vapour phase GAC vessels are constructed of carbon steel with epoxy coated interior for chemical resistance. The IWR AS vessels feature a shallow bed design to minimize pressure drop across the media bed and eliminate the need for booster fans. The media bed is supported by a false bottom with a underlying condensation sump situated directly below. The sump serves as a built in moisture knock-out and storage with bottom drain for manual or automatic condensation removal. This unique design reduces the build-up of moisture in the carbon media, which will severely impair the treatment capability of the carbon. The IWR AS vessel are ideally suited for vapour phase GAC treatment of humid process streams typical of soil and groundwater remediation projects.

IWR - Lamella Plate Clarifiers

The Lamella Plate Clarifier provides a new and efficient way of removing separable solids from construction water. The Clarifier is fabricated of mild steel and has FRP Lamella Plates. The layering of the Lamella Plates increases the projected surface.

IWR - Gravity-Type Liquid-Liquid Separators

Gravity-type liquid-liquid separators are not effective in removing chemically emulsified oil and petroleum product from water.

IWR - Oil/Water Separators

IWR oil/water separators are effective in consistently removing non-emulsified oil and petroleum products from water. A PVC slant rib coalescing media pack is employed to coalesce and separate oil and sediment from water. Separated oil and product accumulates at the top of the separator where an adjustable weir can skim and discharge oil to an internal oil reservoir. A mechanical skimming system can be employed on demand. Treated water collects in a separate internal reservoir where a transfer pump or gravity directs the water to discharge.

IWR - Low Profile Air Stripping System

The IWR air stripper is a water filtration system. The air stripper is a metal tower that consists of several trays. Each tray has several holes. The water enters the tower and is dropped downward through the trays. As the water falls down through the trays, air is  pumped from the ground and blasted up through the trays. This creates a heat transfer, there by purifying the water.

IWR - Multi-Phase Extraction System (MPE)

Multi-Phase Extraction (MPE) is the process of applying a high vacuum, typically > 15”Hg, to an extraction well or trench to simultaneously extract soil vapour, groundwater and liquid phase product from the subsurface. This process cleans soil and groundwater at sites impacted by the release of fuels and chemical products.
