The Omega II cathodic protection controllers by JA Electronics are designed to enhance the performance of impressed current cathodic protection systems. These controllers significantly reduce the ripple in DC output to 0.1 volts or less, compared to unfiltered systems which may have ripple voltages exceeding 8.8 volts RMS. Featuring a standard Silicon Full-Wave bridge, the Omega II is adaptable for installation in new CP rectifiers and can also replace existing units to improve efficiency. By using patented technology, Omega II ensures that output power to protected structures maintains 5% or less output ripple, a stark contrast to the 45% seen in standard units.
