Ambient air quality monitoring is required to determine the existing quality of air, and to evaluate the effectiveness of control programme. RESPL used Particulate samplers to determine status and trends of ambient air quality for the study area. Fine Particulate samplers collect particles of 2.5 microns & below on filter paper holder and Respirable Dust samplers collect particles of 10 microns & below on Filter Paper holder. SPM bigger than 10 microns collected in a separate sampling bottle under the cyclone. These samplers are also used to collect gaseous pollutants such as SOx, NOx, Chlorine, VOCs etc, using appropriate absorbing media in Borosilicate glass impingers.

It is a study carried out on laboratory scale on the representative raw industrial effluent so as to explore the various options for resorting techno economic viable treatment. On basis of the results obtained from the study, the optimum dosing as well as effective treatment options is suggested.

Water Sampling: Surface water i.e Pond, Lake, River etc, and Ground Water i.e Borewell, Tubewell etc, are collected using appropriate statutory guidelines. The water sampler is sent to the desired depth to collect the sample for onsite analyses and further preserve with appropriate preservation for offsite analysis.

The handy samplers are use to carryout assessment of work place pollution and worker exposure. Technovation AS2 Sampler has been use to fulfill this critical need. The methods used for analysis are as per section 36(A) Factory Act 1948.
