Our PRF (Plastics Recovery Facility) has the capacity to process 80,000 tonnes per annum of mixed plastic bottles and plastic pots, tubs and trays. Using NIR (Near Infra Red) optical sorting technology, material is segregated and baled by polymer type and colour. This sorted material is then granulated, washed and pelletized. The main grades processed through the plant are HDPE, PET, PP and PS. We collect predominantly from local authorities, waste management companies and large national supermarket chains. 

Our PET wash plant in Corby, Northamptonshire, has the capacity to process over 30,000 tonnes per annum of PET drink bottles from our PRF (Plastic Recycling Facility). This plant produces food grade r-PET pellet and hot washed r-PET flake. The food grade material is used to create new drinks bottles; the hot washed flake is utilised in a number of applications including rigid PET packaging of food and non-food grade product.

Jayplas produces recycled granulate in a number of different colour ranges, densities and MFIs (melt flow indices) to suit our customer requirements and to meet the market application
