Water scrubbers are often the most cost effective solution for applications in which the pollutant is soluble in water or in a solution composed of water with a chemical additive. Jupiter Scientific’s designers and applications engineers have extensive experience with the development of water scrubbers for an array of industrial applications.

Callisto dry scrubbing canisters provide the highest destruction and removal efficiency and the highest capacity of any point-of-use dry scrub canister on the market. We believe that the most robust dry scrubbing solution on the market is a Callisto canister in the Jupiter Scientific Callisto Dry Scrubber. However, if you already have a different dry scrubber there is a good chance that a Callisto canister can replace your existing canister and greatly improve performance while reducing your costs.

Jupiter Scientific’s Callisto technology is also available in a large platform for catastrophic release applications, large area scrubbing, and fume hoods. Our Callisto Large Area Scrubbers provide scrubbing for large applications such as gas boxes, fume hoods, large process tools, and area scrubbing. Although we can make Callisto Large Area Scrubbers for any size application, our standard units are designed to handle up to 2000 CFM. Our catalyst block technology gives sub threshold limit discharge with minimal pressure drop. We can accomplish this in a very small footprint relative to other scrubbers due to the usage of the most modern catalytic technologies that rely upon formed catalyst blocks instead of large deep beds of loose fill adsorbent.

Malfunctioning and overloaded scrubber systems can endanger your workers and lead to costly environmental excursions. Callisto in-line canisters can be easily installed in existing exhaust lines from your scrubber to ensure that scrubber malfunction and bypass do not result in the release of harmful gases to your ductwork or the environment. these canisters prevent excursions that may lead to regulatory violations. Callisto in-line cartridges also ensure that releases that get through existing scrubbers do not endanger your facility or workers or result in factory shutdowns.

The Callisto Dry Scrubber has two configurations. The single canister Callisto configuration supplies best-in-class dry scrubbing on a one canister system. The dual canister Callisto configuration supplies the same industry leading features with the added security of an always ready hot standby.

Our Europa dry scrubbing canisters contain 15 cubic feet of our custom adsorbents. These canisters can handle very high flow rotes of process gases or serve as an effective means of catastrophic abatement. These canisters are featured in our Zeus. Mercury, and Europa scrubbers. Europa canisters are U.N./ D.O. T approved shipping vessels.

Jupiter Scientific`s Ganymede Water Scrubber provides extremely high destruction and removal efficiencies (DRE) for water soluble gases. The Ganymede features PID controlled chemical injection from the integrated chemical tank to facilitate chemisorption of target gases such as: ammonia, HCL, chlorine, fluorine, HF, H2S. The Ganymede also utilizes a batch wise water purging system to minimize fresh water and chemical usage.
