All-In-One Screen for Pump Stations. Sewage pump stations are increasingly being overrun by high levels of solid including disposable wipes and other waste.  The answer for debris removal in pump stations is the Vertical Auger Monster – which combines three of JWC’s finest technologies – the Muffin Monster grinder, a fine screen and auger compaction technology.  This all-in-one pump station screen facilitates debris removal by first capturing solids, conveying waste vertically out of the lift station, laundering the screenings to remove fecal matter.  Finally this pump station screen dewaters the screenings before depositing the clean and dry material into a bin.

All-In-One Headworks Screw Screen Solution – Grind, Screen And Compact. The Auger Monster is a robust headworks solution which combines three of JWC’s finest technologies – a grinder, a fine screen and a compactor. This spiral screen removes trash and unwanted solids so the treatment plant runs more efficiently. The Auger Monster screw screen is proven to result in cleaner, more compact discharge and lowered disposal costs, as less water and fecal material are sent to the landfill.

The SLB Screening Conveyor Compactor is an ideal pretreatment screening solution for rural housing, resorts, camps and other remote treatment works. It is designed to receive pumped influent directly from 2” or 3” (50-75 mm) sewage pumps with a maximum 2” solid. It will remove trash from primary effluent flows in the range of 50 – 300 gpm (11-68 m3/hr) ahead of the biological process. Solids laden influent is passed through a screening cylinder and transported axially through it by an auger. Solids are to accumulate in the press zone cylinder where a series of shower nozzles wash away organic components during a compaction process. The final discharge solids exit in plug form to a disposal bin. Filtrate and wash water drains by gravity to the downstream treatment process.

The PPS Compactor extracts moisture from solids by the compaction of slurry against a tubular screen element with perforated round or slotted holes. Solids are retained on the surface areas and liquid is passed through the holes. Compaction occurs as the solids are transported by a screw. The screw is designed so that pressure is gradually increased during transport, which helps in retaining solids.

The PLB and PLT dewatering auger conveyor systems work as a screenings press to capture materials from municipal and industrial wastewater screens.  Wet debris waste is dewatered and compacted while is being conveyed it to a discharge point. The PLB screw conveyor consists of a spiral, mechanical gear drive, U-trough housing, screen sections, cleaning shower, and a mechanical tensioning device. The PLB dewatering auger utilizes a shaftless spiral to transport and compact solids. The driving force is “push style” with gearbox mounted on lower end.
