We custom build Bitzer compressor units. The units come as a plug and play units with all components mounted on a common frame. The Bitzer units are suitable for a variety of applications, such as retail stores, smaller cold stores, RSW or seawater cooling for processing decks etc.

Frost has a long standing partnership with Norsk Kulde (before Midt Troms Kjöleservice). Aside from being a renowned contracting and service company, Norsk Kulde produces Howden compressor units, as well as RSW units. Frost has uses NK compressor units, mainly for onboard installations.

Sabroe is a common and well known brand in Iceland. We have an extensive stock of Sabroe spare parts and service engineers with years of experience in overhauling Sabroe Compressors.

Frost has designed and installed refrigeration systems for numerous cold stores and cooling romms, ranging in size from fitting a small restaurant, to Icelands largest cold store with a capacity of storing 25.000 tons of frozen product.

Gyro- /  Spiral freezers is a proven solution for IQF freezing in fish- meat and other food production. The spiral freezer is the kind of IQF freezer that gives the highest capacity per square meter floor space.  The capacities start at 250 kg pr. square meter.Frigoscandia is a leading manufacturer of IQF freezers and has been for decades, with thousands of freezers running all over the world.

RSW plants are supplied for cooling of herring, mackerel, blue whiting and capelin on board pelagic fishing vessels. The units come in various designs, depending on which solution is preferred. The units are built as compact skids, but can also be erected at sight if it is more appropriate. The units are supplied with control systems, DX-evaporator, condenser and piston or screw compressors. After the restrictions on the use of R-22 arrived, we focus on NH3 as refrigerant. Refrigerants filling is minimal and the risk that the Flux-Hi systems will freeze with the consequence that refrigerant will be released  into the catch is therefore negligible. The plants supplied with control systems and is built as a compact system.

DSI is a leading company in the design and manufacturing manually-operated and automatic plate freezers. DSI manufactures different types of manual horizontal and vertical plate freezers which are suitable for use in onshore an d marine installation.
