Purpose Built Systems - Wireless E-Stop

Kar-Tech - Wireless Emergency Stop

Wireless Emergency Stop kits done safely, smart, and affordably. With our 2.4 GHz mesh remote control, you can control up to 9 pieces of equipment in real-time with one wireless emergency stop transmitter or combination of ten transmitters and receivers.  This combination allows you to set one transmitter to one receiver, three transmitters to 7 receivers or five transmitters to five receivers for multiple operator multiple equipment use. They are designed to meet the rigorous requirements for Safety Integrity Level (SIL) 2 based on the IEC61508 standard and Performance Level  (PL) d based on EN ISO 13849-1.

Kar-Tech - Long Range Wireless Emergency Stop

Wireless Emergency Stop kits done safely, smart, and affordably. With our 900 MHz Long Range mesh remote control, you can control up to 5 pieces of equipment from up to 4000 feet in real-time with one wireless emergency stop transmitter or combination of six transmitters and receivers.  This combination allows you to set one transmitter to one receiver, five transmitters to one receiver or three transmitters to three receivers for multiple operator multiple equipment use. They are designed to meet the rigorous requirements for Safety Integrity Level (SIL) 2 based on the IEC61508 standard and Performance Level  (PL) d based on EN ISO 13849-1.

Controllers & Drivers - Wired Pendants

Kar-Tech - Six Switch Proportional Wired Guider Pendant

This wired pendant provides six three-position momentary switches plus a power switch and 25` of cable into its weatherproof, high-impact enclosure. Power is sent into the pendant, and returns on the switch outputs, along with an auxiliary "pump" output that will turn on with any of the switch functions to run a pump or dump valve in parallel. In addition, there is a contactless hall-effect trigger to provide a current-regulated PWM output to a single proportional valve for speed control. The proportional valve output is completely customizable (without requiring more than a screwdriver) to work with nearly any valve for easy retrofit. The cable is terminated in bare ends for installation flexibility, and all parts are field replaceable.

Kar-Tech - Six Switch Proportional Wired Cadet Pendant

The CADET Proportional wired pendant provides six three-position momentary switches plus a power switch and 30` of very durable polyurethane cable into its weatherproof, high-impact enclosure.

Controllers & Drivers - Valve Driver

Kar-Tech - CAN Valve Driver Module

The CAN Valve Driver is a small potted module that`s commonly used to drive proportional valves from an electronic joystick or potentiometers, or J1939 sources. It has two analog inputs to read signals from a joystick, potentiometers, or other control devices, and has two current-regulated proportional outputs to drive most proportional valves. It has configurable input to output mapping, adjustable min/max/ramp/frequency for each output, and min/max/center for the inputs. Programming can be done from an on-board set of trimpots and jumpers, or more easily using our WiFi programming interface. Another common use is as a "soft-start" card - it will take a switch input and can just simply ramp up a proportional output to prevent mechanical shock. In this configuration, the analog inputs are configured for 0–5v, normally to be interfaced with a pressure transducer, inclinometer, or similar.

Kar-Tech - Micro Valve Driver

The Micro Valve Driver is a small potted module that`s commonly used to drive proportional valves from an electronic joystick or potentiometers. It has two analog inputs to read signals from a joystick, potentiometers, or other control devices, and has two current-regulated proportional outputs to drive most proportional valves. It has configurable input to output mapping, adjustable min/max/ramp/frequency for each output, and min/max/center for the inputs. Programming can be done from an on-board set of trimpots and jumpers, or more easily using our patented Palm Pilot programming interface. Another common use is as a "soft-start" card - it will take a switch input and can just simply ramp up a proportional output to prevent mechanical shock. In this configuration, the analog inputs are configured for 4-20mA, normally to be interfaced with a pressure transducer, inclinometer, or similar.
