Whether working with KEMRON for comprehensive remediation or stand-alone Investigation/Engineering services, clients depend on our technical expertise and industry experience to guide them through these critical decisions with one goal in mind – cleaning up the contaminated assets while minimizing the remedial program costs.

Treatability Studies and Technology Evaluation
KEMRON’s Treatability Laboratory evaluates processes for the treatment of hazardous and low-level radioactive wastes. Our research and development personnel draw upon direct experience with full-scale treatment processes to ensure that laboratory conditions accurately simulate full-scale operating conditions. As an independent treatability lab, KEMRON does not sell or advocate any specific treatment technology or proprietary process. This allows us to provide unbiased testing and advice to clients seeking the most advantageous treatment technology for hazardous and low-level radioactive waste. We have completed over 2,500 treatability studies for private and public sector clients including PRP committees, attorneys, environmental consultants, and governmental agencies. Our expertise in the treatability testing of liquid and solid hazardous waste is well known and we’ve been a major participant in the USEPA Superfund Innovative Technology Evaluation (SITE) Program.
Geotechnical Testing
KEMRON maintains a materials testing laboratory for physical and geotechnical testing of a wide range of material types, including soil, sludge and sediment. In addition to traditional materials, we test hazardous and radioactive materials such as sludges, process wastes, tarry and oily materials, and other low-solids or contaminated materials. We specialize in designing custom geotechnical testing methods for materials with unique characteristics. All KEMRON Treatability Lab employees are OSHA 40-hour trained, medically monitored and have years experience in the lab and field testing hazardous materials. We conduct all testing in accordance with protocols established by the American Society of Testing and Materials (ASTM), American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO), the USEPA, the American Nuclear Society, and the US Army Corps of Engineers.Emergency Response Services
