Our actuators are also highly durable, with millions of units in operation worldwide. The unique single moving vane design delivers greater accuracy for modulation. 

Featuring Kinetrol’s highly reliable, low stress range, clock type spring units, our spring return single acting rotary actuators offer the safest fail-safe operation, ideal for your critical applications. Having the lowest torque loss, typically only 20% through 90°, it enables the selection of smaller sized actuators when compared with typical rack & pinion actuators.

Kinetrol`s spring to centre models have a patented part-turn rotary actuator that is driven to an end stop in any direction from an initial centre position. Once the air supply is removed, it’s spring returned to an accurate and positive midpoint. The operator can mechanically choose this mid-position.

Kinetrol`s 180-degree pneumatic actuators are simple and compact, with no external moving parts. Their design is outstanding, providing a constant output torque, thanks to a continuous gear-up ratio, throughout the actuators` travel. Available either as double acting or spring return.
A 120-degree option is also available.

Kinetrol’s double acting and spring return EHD electrohydraulic actuators are designed for use in locations without a compressed air supply. A hydraulic pump delivers pressurised oil to our vane-type rotary quarter turn actuator; being 100% rated and giving a capacity of up to 3000 starts an hour makes it ideal for high cycle or modulating applications.

Kinetrol’s Steadyline range of pneumatic actuator assemblies are precision valve actuators, integrating our dashpot rotary damping units to provide smooth resistance to actuator/valve shaft rotation. Kinetrol Steadyline assemblies smooth out the actuator’s standard travel, dampen any flow-induced valve disc oscillations and allow the user to specify a minimum amount of travel time upon power failure.
