KMA - Automatic Filter Cleaning System
Unmachted due comfort and washing result – the KMA CIP. All KMA ULTRAVENT Filter systems offer the possibility of integrating an automatic filter cleaning system in the filter housing. The cleaning system operates mostly automatically and requires no presence of staff. The launch can be done manually on the remote control or pre-programmed by specifying a day and time.
KMA - Gas Scrubber for Air Purification in Food Processing Facilities
The scrubber is designed for the separation of odour, gas, and fumes, and operates according to the absorption principle. Gas and fumes contained in the waste air are first captured and then separated by an appropriate washing liquid. The KMA gas scrubber is characterized by high separation performance and low water consumption. The scrubber can also be used as a humidifier before waste air enters into the biological filter.
KMA - UV Light Tubes
Highly efficient odour abatement by KMA UV Light. UV light serves for the photo-oxidation of odours. Many malodorous VOC molecules can be oxidised by means of UV light. The result is a significant improvement of the odour situation. UV light needs like activated carbon a good pre-separation of dust or smoke in order to ensure that its effects are complete. After the UV oxidation state a reaction section is necessary for completing the oxidation process. UV light tubes are ideally suitable for high exhaust air temperatures from for example frying plants and convince by their long durability of 8000 – 10000 hours.

ULTRAVENT® Electrostatic filter cells allow the high-grade separation of smoke, dust, fine mist and also sticky or greasy aerosols. “Blue haze” caused by the use of release agents gets separated effectively as well. The energy consumption of our electrostatic filter cells for an exhaust air volume of 5.000 m3/h meets the energy consumption of a 100 W light bulb.

Energy efficiency begins with the selection of the filter medium. In the case of larger exhaust air volumes, and precisely then, if the air consists of greasy and sticky emissions, a high efficient filter system is absolutely necessary. The important factor in this respect is the low energy consumption of the filter medium despite its high efficient separation. Such emissions can soon clog unsuitable filter media, which then cause high pressure losses, elevated energy consumption and high follow-up or replacement costs.

AAIRMAXX - Electrostatic Tube Filter for High Grade Air Purification
KMA AAIRMAXX® ESP tube electrostatic precipitators are highly effective in separating coarse and fine particles, solid substances and liquid droplets from the air. The smoke and dust particles are led vertically (from bottom to top) through the filter body. A stainless steel iIonization electrode inside the separating tube forces the aerosols and particles against the metal wall of the filter body.
KMA - Energy-Efficient Electrostatic Filter Tubes
For the exhaust air filtration it is very important that the energy consumption of the filter medium is very low despite the high efficient separation. Due to the stickiness of the substances to be separated in the food processing industry (e.g. in smokehouse consisting of grease and tar) classic “filter media“ cannot be used as separator (cassettes, bag filter, cartridge filter etc.). They would quickly plug, which causes high pressure loss and thus elevated energy consumption and high follow up and replacement cost.
KMA AAIRMAXX - Exhaust Air Filtration Systems
KMA AAIRMAXX exhaust air filtration systems are mainly used in the pharmaceutical and food processing industry. AAIRMAXX Systems are characterized by the AAIRMAXX ESP Electrostatic Filter Tube. Its design is entirely different from the ULTRAVENT electrostatic filter cell and is especially suitable for viscous resp. highly concentrated emissions (e.g. tar containing exhaust air of smokehouses). For smaller exhaust air volumes AAIRMAXX ESP electrostatic filter tubes van be also used in the metal processing. Here the electrostatic filter tube works on the principle of layer ventilation.
