KOBOLD - Plastic Low Flow Variable Area Flowmeter

The flow meter and switch for very low flows model KSV for liquids or air operates on the suspended float principle. The direction of flow is from bottom to top, and the installation position is vertical. The indication point is the upper edge of the ball. The device has been designed as a simple and thus economical measuring system. The optional needle valve allows economical control. The device has been designed for panel mounting.

The flowmeter model KFR operates on the proven suspended float system, that is, the installation position is vertical and the flow is from bottom to top. Temperature Monitoring

KOBOLD - Room Thermostat

The room thermostats are fitted with liquid-filled helix probes made of copper or stainless steel that act as temperaturedependant pressure probes. A change in temperature causes a pressure change in the probe, which is transferred to a switch by a bellows system or a diaphragm. A compression spring acts as a counteracting force. The switching values are set by changing the initial stress of the compression spring with a setpoint spindle.

KOBOLD - Calorimetric Flow Switch

The model KAL electronic flow monitor continuously monitors liquid medias. It is suited for securely monitoring flows with minimum pressure loss. Sensitivity to soiling is significantly reduced by means of a single-part sensor. Theory of operation The operation of the model KAL-... electronic flow monitor is based on the calorimetric principle. The end face of the sensor is heated to a few degrees above the temperature of the flow medium. When the medium flows, the heat generated in the sensor is transferred to the medium, ie, the sensor is cooled. The cooling procedure is an accurate measure of the flow velocity. The sensor signal is compared with the reference data stored in a microcontroller. An alarm signal and/or an analogue signal (4 - 20 mA) that is proportional to the flow velocity is output if the actual flow velocity deviates from the desired flow velocity. The microcontroller allows the flow indicator to be easily calibrated and the temperature to be compensated.

Conductivity

KOBOLD - Transmitter / Controller

The compact transmitter/controller ACM-1..  measures the conductivity value, TDS value or specific resistance. It is available as panel-mounted device according to DIN/EN 61554 or as field housing. Measured  values and  parameters  are  displayed on a high-contrast graphic display in plain text. Easy configuration via buttons or PC with optional software provide a simple and user friendly operation. An integrated math and logic module enables the integration of the measured values in mathematical formulas so that the measured variables can be displayed.

Humidity

KOBOLD - Humidity / Temperature Measuring Instrument

The range AFK-G humidity/temperature sensors are sensors for measuring relative humidity and temperature (optional) in air and other non-aggressive gases for an operating temperature of up to 200 °C. The high pressure variant can be used up to a pressure of 25 bar. The sensors are thus ideally suited for measuring humidity in industrial processes. The sensors are based on capacitive metrology which is reasonably-priced, maintenance-free and highly accurate.
