Aquapix - High-Resolution Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Sonar (InSAS)

Kraken has successfully developed and deployed a high-resolution Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Sonar (InSAS) called AquaPix®.  AquaPix® is capable of providing detailed seabed images with a constant resolution better than 3cm x 3cm out to a range of 300m from each side of an underwater vehicle (600m swath). It can also produce 3D bathymetric data with a resolution better than 25cm x 25cm out to full range while delivering very high depth accuracy, in compliance with IHO S44 special order requirements.

AquaPix - Miniature Synthetic Aperture Sonar (Minsas)

MINSAS is an off the shelf configurable Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Sonar (SAS) which replaces high end sidescan systems at an affordable price, while delivering significantly higher resolution, range, and area coverage rates (ACR).

Kraken SeaVision - Synthetic Aperture Sonar System

The Kraken SeaVision system is a revolutionary new take on subsea 3D laser imaging. Designed to operate in a twin scanning configuration, with adjustable baseline, SeaVision can generate very high resolution 3D scans in full color. This is due to one of the unique features of SeaVision® which uses a Tri-Color laser system to produce full color imagery. Each unit has a low-light underwater camera, a high power LED light, and steerable RGB-line lasers.

DataPod - Removable Data Storage Module

DataPod has been designed to meet today’s data storage requirements for rugged marine applications. It combines the ease of use of a Network Attached Storage system with the reliability of a RAID array and solid state storage all in one compact unit. Each DataPod™ module utilizes the latest solid-state disk drive technology to provide a high-density, reliable, removable data storage solution. The unit enables high bandwidth recording with up to 2.5 Terabytes (2 TB in RAID configuration) in a 1000m depth rated pressure module. Each DataPod™ weighs less than 3 kilograms and is built to withstand extremes in temperature, shock, vibration and water integrity.
