OPTITEMP - Resistance (RTD) Compact Sensor for Hygienic Applications

The OPTITEMP TRA-C61 is a compact resistance sensor (RTD) with optional integrated transmitter for hygienic use in limited space. The temperature sensor is particularly designed for food & beverage applications. This includes the temperature measurement of beverages, dairy products or pasty food. The sensor is therefore made of stainless steel (1.4404 / 316L) with an industry-specific surface finish of the thermowell of Ra ≤0.8 μm. It complies with FDA and EC1935/2004 regulations. Its G12 thread for hygienic adapters leaves freedom of choice for the process connections. The compact RTD sensor is available with VARIVENT®, dairy screw (DIN 11851), SMS 1145 as well as different weld-in sleeves.

KROHNE - Venturi Based Wet Gas Measurement

With its small beam angle, this radar is particularly suited for continuous, non-contact level measurement in high and narrow silos, hoppers or buffer storage containers up to 100 m / 328 ft. Due to specific algorithms and the high signal dynamics of the FMCW radar, the level transmitter is ideal for low-reflective media, dust, uneven surfaces or silos with internal obstructions. As it features flush-mounted PEEK and PTFE Lens antennas, there is no intrusion into the tank.

The OPTIWAVE 7400 is a 2-wire 24 GHz radar (FMCW) level transmitter for liquids in harsh environments like tanks with agitators containing corrosive media. It is particularly designed for continuous, non-contact level measurement under extreme conditions prevalent in the chemical, petrochemical, power, metal or oil and gas industry. The device features Metallic Horn antennas as well as PTFE and PEEK Drop antennas for measuring distances up to 100 m / 328 ft. The Drop antennas are perfectly suited for aggressive liquids in tanks. In applications with toxic and dangerous products, this radar device can be equipped with a METAGLAS® second sealing barrier.

The OPTIWAVE 7500 is a 2-wire 80 GHz radar (FMCW) level transmitter for demanding liquid applications involving narrow tanks with long nozzles and internal obstructions like agitators or heating coils. Its very small beam angle and negligible dead zone make this FMCW radar the optimal choice for continuous, non-contact level measurement in both extremely small and very high tanks (up to 100 m / 328 ft). The level transmitter is even able to measure through tank roofs made of non-conductive materials.
