The self-cleaning automatic filter KAF (Bernoulli Filter) is suitable for a variety of uses. It is self-cleaning and maintenance-free filter and is used to remove contamination particles from highly polluted cooling and process water as well as other fluids, e.g., from natural water sources (sea water, river water) and heating and cooling systems and processes. The filter operates pressures from 0.3 bar (in special cases also 0.0 bar) and is characterized by a low pressure loss, high flow rates, simple and durable design, high performance, low weight and space saving design are the benefits of the system.

The KSF filter can be used universally for liquid media. It is made of GGG-50 (modular cast iron) in accordance with EN-GJS-500-7 or Rg10 (special model). It provides a high performance, is light and compact and is also easy and quick to clean. The flexible combination of body size, filter area and connecting flange allow the adjustment to the piping system and its specific . equirements. Eleven body sizes (GR) can be combined with various connecting flanges. This enables an adjustment to the operating requirements and quantity of impurities and also the variable choice of filter area and service life, accordingly.

The KWF-type single filter can be used in many applications for liquid, gaseous or pasty media. It provides a high performance, is light and compact and is also easy and quick to clean. For special models, inlet and outlet flange can be positioned in any position (vertically offset in the standard model). The filter of the standard model consists of a welded body with a cover fastened by nuts and bolts. Alternatively, the filter can be fitted with a basket or ring strainer insert. The filter can be supplied with all material test certificates 3.1 required or with certifications and approvals in accordance with CE/PED, ASME, GOST and RTN.

The KDF duplex filter can be used universally as a coarse and fine filter on the suction or on the pressure side. Filter operation is maintained without interruptions during the cleaning phase. The duplex filter is cast as one part consists of two identical single filters which can be operated alternatively or in parallel via a changeover fitting. The single filter consists of a cast body, cover and filter insert. The filter insert is a basket strainer made of perforated sheet metal covered with a mesh made of different materials and mesh sizes. The medium to be filtered enters the filter from above, generally flowing through the insert from the inside outward. Impurities are caught in the strainer insert, accordingly.

The KDF-VB duplex filter can be installed in pressure and in suction line and is versatile for coarse and fine filtration. It is characterized by continuous operation during the cleaning phase. The duplex filter comprises two identical single filters connected via a valve-switching device with butterfly valves, which can be switched to only one filter body or can be operated in parallel. Each single filter consists of a cast or welded body, cover and filter insert. The filter insert is a basket strainer or ring type strainer made of perforated plate covered with a stainless steel mesh. The medium to be filtered enters the filter basket from the top and flows through the insert inside out. Dirt thus remains in the filter element.

The KBF filter is used for the filtration of liquid media in industry. Alternatively, it be equipped with bags or basket strainer inserts. Bag filters of the series 122 can be supplied as side inlet versions made of carbon or stainless steel. The filter consists of a filter body, a height-adjustable frame (feet), support basket, hold-down device, filter bag and cover. The medium enters the filter body through the side inlet and flows through the filter bag reinforced by a support basket from the inside outward. The support basket supports the correct seat of the filter bag in addition to the recess and the hold-down device.

The KBF filter is used for the filtration of liquid media in industrial applications. Alternatively, the filter can be fitted with bags or a strainer insert. The filters are not approved for gases. KBF series bag filters are available in 1.4301 (SS304) and 1.4401 / 1.4408 (SS316) stainless versions. The filter consists of a filter vessel, foot frame, strainer support, down-holding device and, optionally, the filter bag. The medium enters the filter vessel through the side inlet and flows through a filter bag that is reinforced by a strainer support, from the inside to the outside. In addition to the recess and the down-holding device, the strainer support ensures that the filter bag is properly seated.
