This program assists the design engineer by providing a text specification for a VAV unit. Sound Power is based on an industry standard. (ARI Standard 885-2008). The program is a copy (unpack the self extracting zip file, located here on the Krueger website) and execute program (It doesn’t have to be installed)

Krueger`s HIT (K-HIT) program is an interactive tool that links complete product data, product selection, and CAD design support for Krueger by Halton Chilled Beam and Displacement Ventilation products.

The Room Sound Calculator is designed to allow computation of NC, RC and dBA values from known room sound pressure levels. A number of apps are available for both iPod and Droid smart phones that can measure the room sound power, by octave band. Just input the reported room sound spectra and the program calculates the single number values. (dBA is included, as it is the requirement specified by the new classroom sound level requirements recommended by the ADA, and required by LEED for Schools.) The program then plots the room sound pressure values.
