Collection Services
Bulk Bins: Bulk BinKS Environmental bulk bins are manufactured by our Engineering Division. We have the capacity to pick up two bulk bins together by adding a trailer to our truck where required. KS Environmental averages 500 bulk bin pick-ups per week. Wheelie Bins: KS Environmental averages 18,000 wheelie bin pick-ups per week from a wide variety of commercial premises. Dumpster Bins: KS Environmental dumpster bins are manufactured in house by our Engineering Division. We have the capacity to fabricate to individual requirements if needed. KS Environmental averages 2,500 dumpster pick-ups per week.
Support Services
Liquid Waste: KS Environmental is able to provide collection of liquid waste products to its clients, through its joint venture Partner, Eastern Liquid Waste. Eastern Liquid Waste Services is an Environmental Protection Authority accredited agent and transfers liquid waste under the EPA permit system. Site Solutions
KS Environmental can provide specialist consultants to analyse and advise you on total waste management systems, from large sporting and entertainment events to smaller business solutions. This service is designed to assist organizations to develop a blueprint for waste minimization and environmental sustainability.
In House Engineering
KS Environmental has full in-house mechanical and manufacturing workshops including a paint shop. This ensures total reliability in the field and the ability to manufacture products that suit individual needs. Internal manufacture and maintenance also means our trucks and equipment meet the most stringent standards of safety and performance – our own.
Recycling Services
Organics: KS Environmental can provide organic waste solutions for your business and even help educate your staff in the awareness of this important waste function. We have worked in unison with the Melbourne Cricket Club, Prestige Property Services, Spotless Catering and Sustainability Victoria, in a food waste to compost program, an environmental initiative which directs compostable catering waste away from the traditional option of landfill. MCC kitchen staff were trained to separate compostable food waste and place it into specifically labeled bins provided by KS Environmental. We designed, manufactured and installed hydraulic lifters to enable the heavy wheelie bins to be safely emptied into holding skips. KS Environmental transports the skips to a composting recycler where it is turned into garden compost. This program has been operating since 2002 and has saved many tonnes of organic waste from being dumped as landfill.
